Rizzo’s pizza used to be good for $2.50, now they increase the price to $3.50 and lower its quality. Pizza it’s extremely thin, you can see the right through. It looks like they use a spray bottle to apply the tomato sauce, if we can call it tomato sauce. No cheese what so ever. Literally is thin bread sprayed with olive oil, I don’t mind paying $3.50 but Rizzo’s is going to the extreme to make extra $$’s. I will definitely stay away from this place. By the way I do support small business. But this is too much.

Let’s cut to the chase – cause that’s what you’re going to get when you walk into the restaurant and order: no frills, no fuss. A simple transaction. As a New Yorker, that’s much appreciated when you’re just trying to grab a quick bite to eat. Don’t get me wrong, the staff is courteous and pleasant but without the pomp and circumstance. As for the food? I kept it simple with two plain slices. Hopefully the picture speaks for itself but if you need the extra assurance: it’s delicious! I was full after a few bites of one slice so I’d def recommend sharing this meal with another. Be sure to have cash on hand – it’s a $10 min on card. Best pizza I’ve had in Jersey City.

Melt in mouth Italian cookies. Absolutely love them and these are must try if you are in the area. Staff is super nice and polite. I usually get a box of assortment and they tie the box with beautiful red and white twine, a personal and nice touch. This place has a old Italian feel to it.

Nothing fancy, no gourmet flavors, but if you’ve got a craving for a big ole slice at a low price, this is a great spot. The biggest pizza slice we’ve ever seen. Owners are Italian speaking and make lots of other authentic, homemade Italian goodies: fresh bread, pastries, pasta and sauces!
