I don’t want any other ramen shop. This is the PLACE to be! Honestly, don’t like sushi, can’t even stand the smell, yet I tried a piece of my husband’s shrimp roll and I wanted to beat him up and take it for myself. Idk what kind of magic happens in that kitchen, but please don’t ever lose it. The pork bowl, ramen, gyoza, and sushi are so dang good. I will always recommend this place whenever someone asks. I stopped into Anong’s Thai Cuisine on a Wednesday night. It was not overly busy, and I was seated quickly. The waitress was great and very attentive throughout the meal.
I ordered the khao soi with chicken, and it is easily in the top two khao sois I have had in the U.S. The flavor and spice level were phenomenal. The broth was rich and balanced, the noodles were cooked perfectly, and it had just the right amount of heat. They also bring chili paste on the side if you want to kick it up another notch.
Overall, a fantastic meal. I will absolutely stop here again the next time I pass through town.

Best Ramen (TanTan is my personal fave) and Fried Rice hands down and Spicy tuna. Service is always good. Smaller space but the food is always great, very consistent which is what I love the most about this place! Not to mention it’s very affordable.

I am from Washington near minutes from the border to BC (aka amazing japanese food). I have lived in Japan and Hawaii and hunt down good Japanese good food. Basically what I am trying to say is eat here. If you have any hesitation stop, and eat here. It is the best outside of Japan that I have found in the usa.
I lived in Omaha years ago and still think of this place and plan to go there every time I am back. It is the best outside of japan that I have been to (I will say it again)! I have also lived in Hawaii with the abundance of japanese food.. I am telling you, this place is amazing. I discovered it during covid and think of it all the time and it still lives up to memory! How many places can claim that.
Get everything on the menu. Every time I go back to visit family I make sure to eat here as many times as possible. 100/10. You’re missing out if you do not eat here. Hit up the zoo, then come for ramen. The fried rice is also 1000/10 … not many places live up to what you remember them to be. This one does and better. Eat through the menu and please say hi for me. The pork is to die for.

Really enjoyed my first visit! It’s quite difficult to locate an authentic Japanese-owned ramen shop in Omaha. The service was friendly, the price was reasonable, and, most importantly, the food was exceptional. I plan to return with my family in the future.

It’s our first time to try this restaurant. We had Shumai and gyoza for the appetizers, which were really good and filling. It was a little big serving for an appetizers, so I was kind of half full when I had the ramen. I ordered thr shoyu ramen with additional nori anf boiled egg and my husband had the spicy pork belly bowl. The broth was ok, average, I would say. The serving size is just about right. The price is less than I expected. The overall service was good. Store is clean. I would still recommend it.

Went in here to have lunch today. The staff is friendly and nice. They are very courteous here. The food was delicious and very filling. Bowl of ramen is $9.45 and appetizers are like $6 and under. I tried the octopus balls which are yum. It’s like a dumpling almost with cut up octopus. I recommend it, very different and flavorful. Crunchy sushi roll and tempura shrimp were yum also!
