Must take the ferry to get to the island. Great service from Thomas. The hostess had a bit of a difficult time figuring things out. Burgers were delicious. A lot of house made items available. Somewhat difficult to find but plenty of parking. Most of the outdoor seating was unavailable when we were there but it appears that they have a full deck available with a beautiful view. They have a kids menu but the portions are large with a main course only and no sides.

I stopped in for lunch and could not have been more impressed. A beautiful view, a delicious meal (fish and chips) and excellent service. A very comfortable atmosphere.

My son and I took our first trip to the island and found this gem. I called in advance to check if it was reservations, they said no and got my name down for a table of 2. Not knowing what to expect but very excited. We are greeted by staff right away and asked where we would like to sit. We mentioned we called and they already had a table set with a beautiful water view. The server was so kind, hospitable and really fun to chat with. All the staff were very attentive, I noticed 2 on floor and 1 at the bar, they all kept an eye on things. My food was so delectable, I really couldn’t decide what to pick and went with the servers suggestion of the salmon. I’m so glad I did! I want to try everything. We also had tots which were cooked so perfectly with just the write crisp. Dessert we opted for the lava cake at the table and pie to go. The lava cake was intended to have whipped cream but they ran out and asked if ice cream was okay. We agreed but whipped cream definitely would’ve been better or softer ice cream. Overall wonderful experience and I look forward to visiting again.

My girlfriend and I came here for breakfast. Her biscuits and gravy were not very good, but the farmer scramble that I ordered was delicious and had a large enough portion to feed both of us. The price was surprisingly low, especially for an island restaurant. The view from the restaurant is amazing, and they even have little paddleboats that you can take out onto the lake. I decided to knock off a star because the biscuits and gravy were borderline inedible, but other than that we had a great time.

Loved our waitress– so sweet and engaged. The atmosphere also, was lovely. Food was just okay with the exception of butter tuna entree (DELICIOUS!). Salmon fettuccine just okay; Dessert and fresh-brewed coffee (even the decaf) was yummy.

Recently came back and they forgot my order. The waiter made excuses, 1.5 hours for a burger. Just own up to a mistake.
A decent place to eat, food is usually good. I haven’t had anything I don’t like, but they seem to have problems getting orders right. I’m a vegetarian and I’ve had meat on orders I asked for no meat.
Not sure if it’s the same server I have had, but I specifically ask for light cheese on the pizza every time and every time it’s ignored. Verified last time it wasn’t on the ticket.
Regardless of this, the kitchen needs to know more does not = better. Ratios are important. When your cheese is as thick as the crust, it’s gross. Makes it so heavy/rich you can’t eat more than a slice. I’ve had this happen 5 times before I said something. Gave them another try and it still happened again.
