Ordered several large pizzas and wings about two months ago and was told 30 minutes. Arrived to pick up food roughly 40 minutes later and was told “I’m just getting ready to make them. Will be 30 minutes”. Waited and waited and waited. More than an hour later and the food still wasn’t ready. Was told could not issue a refund because the guy who does that was not there. Finally got the food over 2 hours after the order had been placed. Food was good which was the only plus to this experience. Ordered again tonight and was told it would be an hour and a half. Okay at least this time they were honest about the wait. Went to get the food and get back home maybe 12 minute drive and the pizza is cold. Cold as in it likely sat done for an hour or more on the counter. Pizza was also terrible. Call and again am told that the guy who handles these kinds of things just left and nothing they could do. If I could give less than a one star review I would. You lost our business and I hope people read these reviews and order elsewhere. This place is not worth your time or money.

This place does not seem to care too much about cross-contamination. People wearing gloves to pick your food and then the same gloves to work the register and then the same gloves too use their cell phone and then the same gloves to start making new pizzas. I also noticed their Parmesan shaker had flakes of red pepper in it, which could be very bothersome to someone who sensitive to red pepper.

Rico’s strikes again y’all!
Tell me why I decided to go to Rico‘s in the Arnot mall on Monday, December 22… 2025,,,,My birthday mind you. I wanted a slice of pizza before I watched a movie at the Regal Cinemas. I waited for five minutes and there was absolutely nobody there… When I yelled hello or is anybody there? I heard a rude voice from the back say give me a minute, I’ll be out in a minute. I waited another five minutes and walked away. I don’t understand why there was one person there during a school winter break vacation, at 1 PM in the afternoon during lunchtime…After I got close to the movie theater entrance , I turned around and looked back and the young lady magically appeared from I’m the back and was helping the Caucasian couple that happened to walk up to the counter right after me. I’m adding this to my previous review. And it goes without a doubt to say that “RICO’S PIZZERIA, STILL” has the worst service along with crappy food. You would think that the owner or the manager would reach out to address the issues about their restaurant. But yet to this day, I haven’t heard anything… Maybe I’ll post another review in a month to see if I’ll ever hear back. Do better Rico’s.
I hope everyone reads this review very carefully. I ordered food from them for the first time yesterday, the mild boneless wings were disgusting and the sauce consist of barbecue sauce and butter that’s it. It’s gross. Then I ordered a Rico‘s pocket and I said light pepperoni they put big huge stacks of pepperoni. And they gave me bad marinara sauce that smelt like vinegar and tasted tangy a.k.a. it was old. The person working said that he would give me a coupon the next time I ordered.. Well, I called to order today not only was the manager rude, but he insisted he would have a talk with his staff About promising coupons to customers without his knowledge. The customer service is horrible. The food is disgusting and it’s sad because my realtor recommended this restaurant to me. I’d rather eat Domino’s for the rest of my life than ever order from there again. They suck.

I love ricos pizza but the last few months I have stayed away because the quality of pizza is very underwhelming. I went back in today to give it another try. One piece of cheese pizza and one garlic. The cheese piece was so under cooked that when I picked it up to eat, the center of the dough collapsed. It was so under cooked on the bottom that it tasted really bad. The garlic piece was no better and also under cooked. Every time I go into ricos I get a different version of their pizza even though I order the same two kinds. It’s either undercooked or has too much cheese or is burned and has no sauce or has too much sauce and not enough cheese. When the recipe is followed, the pizza comes out beautifully and is delicious. But the inconsistency in quality of pizza has really become an issue. The pizza I received today, I ate two bites and threw the rest away. I expect to be able to eat the pizza I paid for but I guess that won’t happen this time around.

I called tonight at 7:40 tonight to out order in for pickup. I explained three times I wanted my wings extremely well done, extra, extra, extra crispy wings hat I do not like slimy wings. I stated I’d rather them almost burnt then not done enough. So I show up about fifteen minutes later and he states my wings are done just has to put sauce on them and pizza is ready to go. He was in a rush on the phone and in person. He adds total up on cash register then just walks away. Whatever no big deal I figure probably closing soon. I drive home go to eat our food and the wings are not well done their slimy really slimy. I don’t even think they were cooked for as long as they regularly cook them. Very little sauce. I have been coming to Rico’s a long time and have never had a bad experience but when you pay almost $40 for wings and they’re not even cooked all the way that’s irritating. Forget well done they were still slimy so I put then in the oven and recooked them but just not what I was expecting. Seems they have went downhill from the customer service and food I use to get from there. Definitely check your order when you get there if you order on the night shift within an hour of closing.

First their was 6 of us and it seemed like it was an inconvenience for them to wait on us. I ordered a large cheese pizza, 2 calzones thinking they were enough to share,try personal size or smaller, my daughter in-law wanted broccoli, they didn’t have it, seemed they didn’t have anything, even though they had it as a topping on there board. Finally she just got mushrooms. My grandson wanted a salad , there was something spicy in a garden salad. I do realize he may have been training someone that day but to treat paying customers that way, they should be ashamed of themselves.
