The last time I had visited riverside roadhouse was 15 years ago. Overall they had top of the line food, service and atmosphere. Today however it seems they lost that enthusiasm. I visited today ordered appetizers such as the Shrimp, deep fried mushrooms and Hot Cheese Balls, all of their appetizers were great, very delicious. However, my low food rating comes from half of their menu being outdated/out of stock. We had the waiter come back several times asking what else we wanted. They were out of Ribs, Tater Tots, Fish Filet, Fish and Chips and out of Ribeye Steak. The steak was below average. And the tea was not very good wouldn’t recommend as a starting drink. Atmosphere was very nice gave off rustic type of look. The bar was very nice 5 stars for the bar. And the bathrooms need some serious care.

Update: still as good as ever. Came 9/22 and had a great time. Jamie the owner and Zander our server were both fantastic and made our night.

Hubby had good ribs, chicken was ok, baked spud was reheated. Atmosphere nice. French fries was only thing available for a vegan.

Great food and amazing service! Got the sweet (potato) fries and the pulled pork sandwich, they were great! Didn’t charge us for drinks food for 3 people with empty stomachs was only 34 bucks! Bar area separate from dining area, family friendly. If you like to watch trains you can see the tracks from the back room. All in all I would definitely recommend this establishment 10/10 all around!

The entryway was crowded with 4 people and a wheelchair waiting to be seated. Service was great and food was hot. We didn’t wait as long as I had expected for our meal. Huge portions and a reasonable price. I was not a fan of the steak I had ordered. It was over cooked and tough to chew, but it had a decent flavor. The macaroni and cheese was amazing! I’m not from the area and was looking for a non chain restaurant to stop at on my way home. I would try it again if in the area!

We have wanted to stop here for a long time years to be exact. So happy we did today. The food was delicious and service was awesome. Now that we know how to get there we will be back. Our waiter was very attentive and did a excellent job… our food was hot and tasty.
