Wanted to try a new place and hadn’t been here in a decade or so. Ordered 3 meals (Garlic chix, chix lo mein, and sesame chix), and an appetizer of crab cheese wontons. To go. The food wasnt too bad, just not a lot of flavor. I’d suggest adding some spice to pretty much all of it. Garlic chix had more veggies than chix by far and was the most bland – I enjoyed the other two meals more. Total was around $70-ish. There was a lot of food, but a good amount spilled in the bag as shown – that resulted in a sticky mess. Not sure how that happened.
This order was made online, and ill admit i was a bit confused when i had to identify what type of rice i wanted with my lo mein. Never seen rice served with lo mein – a noodle dish.

The food is very good with hearty potions.
We usually have carry out, but I recently had lunch there after a long hike.
The soup, egg rolls, and main dish were all done very well.
The dining room is nothing to write home about, but it was very clean.
Restroom was also clean and orderly.
Some of our favorites are sweet and sour anything, general Taos, sesame chicken, or any of the noodle or vegetable dishes.
My eat-in experience was the sweet and sour combination with shrimp, chicken and pork. It included nice sized shrimp which were fantastic.
Great place overall. If you want to dine in, just know that it’s pretty humble inside.

Our group agreed this is the best Chinese food we’ve had in years. Food was delicious and arrived quickly. We had General Tso’s Chicken and Honey Walnut Shrimp… outstanding! Huge portions. We took home enough for another meal. We’ll definitely be back and happy it’s right here in Monument.

Columbine Gardens is our go-to on Christmas Eve. This year they were not prepared for the onslaught of business. Service was horrible. They were disorganized, got our order wrong and charged us for items we did not have. We spent over 30 minutes figuring out the correct bill. People were leaving half-way through their meals. The food we did eat was hot and delicious.

My mom put in an order on Christmas eve for us and my partner. That night they got hit harder than I have ever seen any restaurant get hit with the influx of orders and customers. Ive come to this business all my life, to celebrate graduating elementary school, on dates, on family celebrations, and they’ve always been consistent, delicious, and quick. Christmas eve they managed what I believe was hundreds of orders within an hour, were patient with a man screaming at them, and made sure to get us our order hot and delicious. They really made our christmas eve wonderful, and I do recommend them.

For $60, this was a total rip off and barely any food at all. We ordered sweet and sour chicken and we had to toss the chicken in the sauce ourselves??? It came completely plain and very dry.

Family ran Chinese restaurant. Clean and amazing atmosphere and staff. Came here on Christmas Day after Mass. Currently in Palmer Lake Recovery Village. Looked forward to this place all week. Definitely didn’t disappoint. Staff were friendly and I felt less alone on Christmas. Best hot and sour soup I’ve had ever! Mongolian combo is posted below.

Update: This is our second time here and hands down our favorite Chinese restaurant in Colorado Springs.
This place has good Chinese food. My wife and I had lunch here and their lunch special were very tasty. They give a generous amount of food. I got Mongolian combo and it was very tasty. They also provide free tea and water. It’s a great place.

Columbine Garden in Monument is my family and I’s favorite place to eat! I have family gathering, birthday party and regular girl lunches there. Owner Eva is super sweet and kind and she will accommodate with all our needs regarding to allergy and spicy level. I found this gem with the best service , best value and best taste!!!
