I called in and they said ready in 10 minutes. After 40 minutes I got my food. Friday at 9 pm. If its going to take that long then don’t tell me 10 minutes. I’m not tryna stay is this place for 30 minutes.
But lately the quality has gone down significantly, reaching a new low in the evening of Thursday, Oct 23. We ordered a build-your-own pan pizza with 5 meats and mushrooms. The pizza was over cooked to the point that the crust was difficult to chew, and the burnt flavor overpowered everything else. There was no sauce on the pizza, despite ordering it with regular sauce and regular bake. What little cheese was on the pizza was rubbery due to overcooking. There were very few mushrooms (4-5 pieces max on the 10-slice pizza, and very little ham, bacon, sausage, or beef. Pepperoni was about normal, but the other toppings, at $1.70 each, were disappointing.
We also ordered a side salad, but most of the lettuce was spoiled, so we had to throw it out.
This is not what we’ve come to expect from Riverside, but seems to be part of an unfavorable trend.
I’ve been a customer since this location started, 20+ years ago, after having been a Little Caesar’s location. But given the recent trend, I can’t recommend this location to anyone.
I’ve never had a service issue because we don’t even call the order in.
It’s your local quick pizza joint.
For the out of towners, don’t expect the highest quality but for the savers, give them a try or try them again!
Also, from my experience, if I want to get Pizza faster, I have to pay and wait right there. I paid for the pizzas and was told it will be 10 minutes. I went to Kroger and came back exactly 30 minutes later and was told to wait few more minutes. That was another 10 minutes of waiting. People were coming and leaving, but there was no line.
In the past, I tried avoiding the wait and ordered before I left my work with the promise that it will be ready in 20 minutes. I had to wait another 30 minutes when I got there.
It seems like they will give the pizzas to whomever is lucky to walk in when it is ready, and if you paid and was not there at the moment, you will wait for them to cook it once you are in their store. Really bad service.
