This is a Mom and Pop restaurant. Know for fresh catfish. Only open on the weekends. This is a hidden local gem. Over looking the Tennessee River. It is a wonderful inexpensive place to enjoy family and friends. Food is great. If you would like an ale or other refreshing beverage it is offered. Over all great family restaurant.

Or, if you are wanting to take a leisurely Sunday drive? Hit hwy 41 at Tiftonia and enjoy the curving scenic route to the RCH. Whether inside watching the game on the big screen or relaxing on the raised deck overlooking the mighty Tennessee River. Your sure to have a great time. Excellent service is an added bonus. All you can eat servings or an appetizer will please the tasters for sure. If your not into the fish, have a burger or any of the many none swimming selections. Take the day. Fire up the motorcycles, or drop the top. You’re going to have a wonder time. We will be back often after this exciting find.

We drove almost 40 minutes to eat at our favorite catfish place, a rare treat for us. We arrived at 7pm with the website showing open until 8:30pm. We were the only car there. Apparently they are remodeling. Nothing was listed about being closed for remodeling on either the website nor even on the outside of the building or the sign either. The food and catfish used to be superb here. We’re disappointed that we drove so far for nothing. Additionally, we may have missed other options due to the time lost. When you love the patrons who love you, you give them a heads-up to let them know that you’re not open. I don’t know how long they’ve been closed nor how long they will remain closed. I do know the food, when they were open, was superb with decent prices and with friendly service.
I hope it reopens under the same ownership with the same quality.
