A friend took me here to celebrate my new job. He’s a better friend than I knew! I had already decided what I would get because he had recommended the BLT. Now normally I wouldn’t get a BLT at a restaurant but he spoke so highly of it I couldn’t resist. All you have to do is look at the picture and if it doesn’t make you hungry you probably just ate! Afriendly staff and a quirky little decor made this a great experience.

The place is much bigger on the inside than it is on the outside. A very popular spot for the after church crowd on Sunday. Also seems to have some great Sunday specials.

Staff very nice but the Prime Rib Po-Boy was anything but prime. It was more bun than anything else. It needs more meat for the $11 pricetag. The onion rings were fabulous. Very well-balanced and seasoned. The atmosphere inside is very warm and welcoming. Love the tables and the hardwood floor.

The waitress was extremely nice. I ordered a fried chicken salad which was really good, I can’t recall what my wife ordered but whatever it was she didn’t complain. I recommend checking it out. I wish there menu had more options but the food was excellent

Was traveling from Lake Conroe to Mansfield and stopped for lunch. Had grilled fish with okra and greens. The food was delish and I’m glad I stopped. Highly recommended.

Food taste like a good home cooked meal. For an appetizer they bring you a bowl of pinto beans and some hot water cornbread. They are also on the menu. They used to be really good but lately they are a little more spicy than usual. We were told the lady who makes them had covid and has to add more spice before she can taste it.
Chicken fried steak is really good. The hamburgers are good. The fried fish is fried just right. Our grandson loves their spaghetti. We have eaten here quite a few times and have never had a complaint. Prices are very reasonable. All our servers have been attentive but not annoying.

Delicious Food. Our Waitress, Alissa, was the most wonderful woman. A lot of our group were returning customers and she remembered what their favorite foods.
She will be surely missed when she finds a new job! Too bad the Owner cant see that!
