Found this place last year on our way from Frankenmuth & stopped here on our way again this year. As last year, we all loved the pizza. Best we’ve ever had! The sauce, crust, & cheese was so good & the toppings were fresh mushrooms, not canned like some places use. Highly recommend the pizza! I wish the toppings & sauce covered the pizza too the edges better but the crust was so good, especially dipped in their ranch dip! Service could’ve been better. Our waitress was really friendly but slow! Took a long while just to get our order taken.

So here’s the deal. Pizza’s kind of like my favorite food. I’ve lived in Dundee for almost two years. I just finished my first slice of River’s Edge Big Chicago, let me tell you what I’m disappointed I didn’t listen to everyone sooner. Hands down, one of the best pizzas I have had in Michigan. I’m gonna get back to this pizza now, but everyone should make sure they get pizza here, honestly forget any other pizza place in a 50 mile radius.

Edit:
Okay I finished my second slice. Man, everything about this pizza down to the oven the cook it with is just 100% right. I’m super impressed by this small town gem.

First time trying the pizza ..Got the big meaty which probably would have been perfect if it had extra light sauce as I asked for.. It was good but we just don’t like alot of sauce .( i drove 22 min so didn’t want to wait for it to be redone )The garlic puffs were good ! Will probably give it another try in a few months ..

Tried again in July… got same pizza minus sauce definitely less toppings but still good tried the cheesy bread which was really good

Stopped here on our way home from vacation. It’s in the middle of town, parking was easy, food was absolutely delicious (subs and pizza). Our server was the only one serving so I felt bad for her, but it took some time. If you park around back you can see the river and the old mill, which was cool

Ordered the $14 chicken parm with meat sauce and pickle chips with a side salad.
Service was great and was pretty quick. Food was piping hot and tasted great. Only complaint was the price – A $14 Chicken parm dish should include a whole chicken breast, not four little strips of chicken. The meal was mostly pasta and the meat sauce did not contain any visible meat, felt like kind of a rip-off. The pickle chips were awesome, as was the salad.

This maybe the best pizza I have ever had. The crust was done, it had the perfect crunch to it. We had the kitchen sink pizza and the garlic knots and those were amazing also. This is a place I would travel to for pizza and I say that because we are from Jackson.

A co-worker on my husbands job recommended this restaurant. Glad he did. We really enjoyed the food. Started with a hot cup of french onion soup…broth was rich and flavorful. Salad wasn’t bad. I would have preferred a little more romain vs the leafy greens. They give you the option of baked or fried Pretzel bites. The baked ones with the cheese was very good. Last but nit least, we tried a couple of the pizzas. The pizza crust is excellent and the toppings were good quality ingredients.
The service wasn’t bad and parking could be better. We plan on definitely returning.

I’ve been going here with my family ever since I was a baby. Now, I’m almost 30.
They have excellent pizza,
A wide side of drink selections,
Delicious burgers & Sandwiches, Pasta, Salads, and more.
A great atmosphere, sometimes loud and busy and dinner time, but definitely WORTH IT.

It was very busy on a Saturday during the holidays. We got a table right away and served efficiently and she was very sweet. Food was delicious! (I got my 3 tablemates hooked on your French onion soup.)

They have an excellent Chicago deep dish.
Sauce was not sweet, which I loved, and is nicely seasoned with Italian spices.
Watch out for the platter the pizza is served on, sliding off the platter holder when trying to scoop a slice.
The fried mushrooms were not overly cooked or over-breaded.
They do have gluten free pizzas.
Had to only wait 20 mins during the peak of prom. The wait time is probably far less in normal times.
The majority of the space is seating, but (for as popular as this place is) the seating doesn’t seem to be enough.
To get to the bathrooms you have to go past the bar seating and into a worker galley way, so watch out for bumping into staff. The mens restroom was clean, but the door jamb casing has a rather large gap you can see through and is right next to the urinal.
Overall highly recommended.
