We stopped in for a fish fry and drinks. The bar was pleasant and inviting, with the patrons being friendly and talkative. My wife had the combo fish and shrimp and I had perch . Our sides were fries, German potato salad, coleslaw and fettuccine alfredo. Everything was top notch and delicious. The batter on the fish and shrimp was light and cooked perfectly. You could defiantly tell everything was homemade. Bob has really done a great job here, I highly recommend stopping here.

Went here for a fishfry and ended up eating a garlic sauce, onion burger it was delicious the place was nice, our waitress was great! So if you are in the Northwoods, stop in and grab a bite to eat or just hang out with friends.

In the Northwoods of Wisconsin and you are hungry, welcome to your food paradise!!! I stopped here twice and tried broasted chicken, pork loin. They were both delicious along with their fried potato cakes. The selection of hard liquor was limited but hey you are in the Northwoods. Alicia was a great bartender that welcomed us in with open arms. Absolutely a great experience

If you plan to dine there make sure the owner Bob isn’t cooking. Last 3 meals were not good and very small. Plus I ordered a double shot drink tonight. Tasted like wrap. I suspect he is refilling bottles. Too bad, use to be a great place.

FANTASTIC food and FANTASTIC service as always. If you haven’t tried the Garlic Burger you’re missing out. Friendly and personable even if they are short staffed, I love this place!

You should have had 6 star rating for this place. Best Walleye I’ve ever eaten….period. Baked potato was to perfection and Cole slaw was great. Took a bite of my wife’s German potato salad and it was great as well. We’ll definitely go back next time we’re in the area. They had a great beer there as well, called Muskelager.

Called for 45 minutes no answer. Drove 8 miles out of town to get there. People still in the bar. Lights on. Bartender quick runs to shut all lights off as soon as we pull in. Then tries to sneak back without being seen. Very unprofessional. Maybe change your hours to 10pm instead of 2am. Closing at 11? While you’re still serving people. Basically felt unwanted. Lost my business. Rude!
