We love this Lynchburg classic. I got the GF Ricky for the 1000th time. I’m obsessed with this pizza. My only critique is that the GF crust is thin and it burns on the edges. The GF pizza is smaller than the normal option, but there is NO upcharge, which automatically makes them better than everywhere else.
My photographer got the Tootie Montana (regular crust) and was very satisfied. He had no further comment.
We recommend arriving before 6pm to avoid a wait.

Rivermont Pizza has this really cool vibe and great food! It’s awesome that Lynchburg has a cool pizza place like here. Great selection of drinks and food options. It’s an awesome place to hangout and enjoy some great food and drinks!

This place was recommended several times to my son and I. It’s report card season so we decided to go out somewhere special and new for good grades. Rivermont Pizza did not disappoint! There was live music upstairs at the place above Rivermont Pizza and the sounds of music echoed downstairs. The food was phenomenal. They offered both traditional pizza options as well as really unique flavors. All in all this was a great experience!

Ordered a pepperoni pizza and entree. The pizza was delicious, but nachos was not that great. When the loaded nachos came the ones on the bottom were soggy and not that appealing visually. The service was okay considering the place was packed. Great atmosphere though. I’ll definitely come back for the pizza. Only complaint I had was the tables and booth needed to be wiped down again because whoever tried to clean them were clearly in a hurry. As you were.

Year after year we have been going to Rivermont Pizza with friends, family, colleagues for celebrating/getting together/hanging since they opened. The food and atmosphere never disappoints.
If you have read my reviews, you know I focus on vegan/vegetarian options. As a family of vegetarians we have plenty to choose from at Rivermont Pizza. Not only are there options designed for vegans/vegetarians, the restaurant gladly modifies other options to make them vegetarian friendly.
The vegan/vegetarian menu is not an after thought, the establishment truly cares! Thank you, Rivermont Pizza!
This restaurant is a Lynchburg gem, and we hope to go here for years to come!

5 stars for atmosphere and service. High praise for menu options and toppings. The star of the show though, the pizza, wasn’t very impressive to be honest. The crust has never been “crunchy” here, but our last visit it was downright soggy. Leftovers didn’t even crisp up in the oven at home. I’ll still be back with others because the atmosphere is top notch. But if I crave just a pie, it’ll be Sourdough, Blaze, or one of the other big chains. Never hurts to revisit how things are done from time to time. 😉

We used Rivermont to cater our wedding earlier this month, and it was such a hit with our guests. Food was delicious and nothing was left over by the end of the evening. Highly appreciate the customer service going above and beyond to make sure the pizza got to the venue warm and on time. Cannot recommend them enough!
