We had the pleasure of have breakfast for the first time at Briana’s Pancake House and they did not disappoint.

I ordered the eggs Benedict with 3 eggs while Gerald ordered the scrambled eggs, sausage links, hashbrowns with a side of toast. The coffee was delicious and our waitress was super duper friendly. ❤️ Unfortunately it was her last day due to her pursuing her teaching goals. I’m sorry I couldn’t remember her name otherwise I would include it in this 5 ⭐️ review! She couldn’t stop praising how awesome the staff and work environment of Briana’s Pancake House. They always hear great compliments from their guests a true family friendly restaurant.

She was so sweet and attentive making sure we had everything we needed. The food was superb! Thank you to the chefs and staff of Brianas Pancake House for the amazing breakfast experience.

Visited Briana’s Pancake House in Batavia with my spouse yesterday. The service was very good. Breakfast items were all excellent. I should have posted pics of the food, but we dug into our breakfast too quickly. LOL! I know it sounds odd, but Briana’s is the first place that truly knows how to cook hash browns when you ask for them well done. They were absolutely perfect and exactly how I always envision well done hash browns to be. We will definitely be back to this gem. It’s nice that Briana’s has multiple locations, too.

I am so exhausted. I have been trying to journey out to Batavia and continue working on refinishing that dresser since last Friday. It is Columbus Day. My day off of work. I force myself to get out and go to Batavia to put some work into the dresser. I have to pick up some borax to neutralize the effect of the oxiliac acid on the wood shadowing. I also had to pick up some more stripper and batteries for my smoke alarms. If I don’t get out and make a early North bound bus before 9:a.m., I have messed up my agenda. I had a interesting weekend. Full of twists and turns. God showed me himself through a series of interactions. I feel enlightened and blessed. I force myself out. Late but still I made my purchases then headed downtown where I dropped off my supplies. Kitty corner to the shop, where space has been graciously lent to me so I could complete my project, is Briana’s Pancake House. A daytime breakfast lunch diner type of restaurant. They close at three. They have six locations. Here in Batavia. Elburn, East Dundee, Hanover Park, Elgin, South Elgin, and Glendale Heights. I took a seat at the coffee counter. Karyn was my server. Sweet with a gentle touch. Big bright eyes, smiley. Attentive without being intrusive. Originally I was going to stop at McDonalds for two cheeseburgers and coffee. I changed my mind. Instead I enjoyed a soothing, 3 cups, of hot tea and a big big meal. The Kane scrambler with fruit and a side biscuits and gravy. I also ordered a side of bacon. 4 long strips came with this side. Two people could have enjoyed this. The Friut side was no small side. This is a family restaurant with beautiful interior. The staff has such pleasant interactions with each other. You can tell they like each other and have fun with each other when not working. They have outdoor seating but it is overcast today. Some sprinkling here and there. It’s not cold. Just, dreary. This menu is pretty extensive. Page one is breakfast pancakes, crepes, french toast, waffles. Across the page are omlet’s, Benedicts and scramblers. The omlet come with a choice of hash browns or fruit. Choice of toast. Pancakes, crepes, french toast, potato pancakes. Tortillas or biscuits and gravy. Scramblers, same thing but omit the tortilla. Pages 3 & 4 are breakfast samplers, skillets. Steak N eggs, breakfast sandwiches. Breakfast wraps, two senior breakfast items. A traditional breakfast of 2 eggs, any style, choice of breakfast meat to include bacon, sausage patties or links. Ham, corned beef hash, Canadian bacon, home made chorizo, or turkey bacon or patties. The senior create your own omlete includes ham, bacon, sausage, chorizo, gyro meat, broccoli, onions, tomatoes, green pepper, mushroom, spinach, American cheese. It kind of ends there but appears as though it had the intention of continuing on with other cheese choices. These senior selections also come with a choice of hash browns, fruit or cottage cheese. Plus a choice of toast, pancakes, crepes, french toast, potato pancakes, tortillas, or biscuits and gravy. Egg breakfasts to include one, two, or three eggs. Next come the salad selections. 10 choices to include a fruit plate. Low calorie plate, beef patty, chicken breast, chicken salad, or tuna salad. Served with cottage cheese and a choice of fruit or vegetables. Julienne salad, Taco salad, Cobb salad, Berry chicken salad, Southwest salad, Mediterranean chicken salad, California chicken salad, Crispy chicken salad. Turning the page, Briana’s has sandwiches, clubs, burgers, Panini’s, wraps, melts, Reuben. Garlic Parmesan grilled cheese, home made tuna or chicken salad on a croissant, Philly skirt steak, B.L.T., grilled cheese on sourdough, (choice of bacon or ham), Chicken Malibu, Italian beef, Chicken Montana, Chipotle chicken sandwich. If you don’t find anything in this sandwich lineup you like, then you just don’t like sandwiches. Sandwiches are served with french fries, cole slaw, cottage cheese or fruit. Plus a choice of soup or salad. The end page is where you will find the many many sides Briana’s offer.

Went here on Valentines day with my partner (we are gay). We have been here several times before and have had good experience. The food is pretty cheap and good, service is fast, people are chatty and kind but not over bearing. But after this visit I will not be back.
We came in without a reservation and were seated with no wait. The restaurant was busy but not to the point that I can excuse the behavior of the wait staff. Our waiter was rushing us through our order process, not even allowing me to finish speaking before demanding what I was choosing for my sides. The same happened for my partner. I was already a bit upset with his attitude but figured he may be stressed. That was until I watched him interact with every other table in his section. He was nice, cracking jokes, and polite with everyone else. The only difference between our table and these other tables was that we were visibly two gay men. It got worst when they brough out our food. The food itself is fine and how it has been on past experiences but the person who brought it out literally dropped/tossed our plates onto the table and walked off. I do not want to throw around accusation without just cause but it seemed as if we were being treated poorly based on our sexuality alone. I am very disappointed in this restaurant.

We’ve had brunch at Briana’s several times and the food is consistently good. The service has always been friendly and attentive. I recommend the Mexican Farmer’s Omelette with loads of chorizo. Absolutely delicious!

Fantastic service, food, and by far the best coffee served at a breakfast restaurant. The smoothies are blended with fresh ingredients and come in classy pineapple themed glasses. The staff were very accommodating with any requested modifications to their menu and our server Violeta was especially wonderful. She made the entire dining experience very memorable. Can’t wait to be back!

We had a nice brunch here at Briana’s Pancake House. Very attentive service, quality ingredients, flavorful, fresh, and all came out hot for our party of 6. Was our first time here but not last.

At first glance, this place seemed like it might be a decent spot for breakfast. The menu sounded promising, and the atmosphere initially came across as casual and energetic. Unfortunately, that first impression didn’t hold for long once the food and service arrived.
The quality of the food was disappointing. Several items had an oddly gummy texture, making even simple breakfast staples unpleasant to eat. What should have been comforting and straightforward instead felt poorly prepared and rushed.
The situation became more concerning when it came to allergy awareness. Both the waitstaff and the kitchen appeared unclear on what actually counts as dairy, which led to serious issues when an allergy request was made. That lack of basic understanding is not just frustrating — it’s unsafe, and it shows a troubling gap in training and communication.
To make matters worse, the environment was overwhelmingly loud. TVs were mounted everywhere and all playing at once, completely dominating the space. Any attempt at conversation was drowned out, turning what should have been a relaxed breakfast into a sensory overload.
Overall, what started as a place with potential quickly unraveled into an experience marked by poor food quality, inadequate allergy handling, and an atmosphere so noisy it actively works against enjoying a meal. This is not somewhere I would recommend, especially to anyone with dietary restrictions or who values being able to hold a conversation while they eat.

I ordered this food today on doordash about an hour ago and this is how everything came. I was so excited to try this place because of what the photos looked like. My biscuits and gravy was something I was looking forward to the most but was missing and never recieved but paid for. My eggs benedict was sooooo sloppy and the eggs were not poached, I substituted english muffin for toasted sourdough bread and I recieved soggy untoasted bread instead, did I mention how SLOPPY it was? Speaking of sloppy that’s also how my daughters scrambled eggs and hashbrowns were, everything tossed and thrown around in the container. The bacon I ordered extra crispy and nothing was crispy about it, it was chewy and not good. The fruit was the only normal thing. I would never tell someone I love or care about to eat from here. Doordash was contacted as well. But I want others to be aware of what this food could POSSIBLY come to you like too.
