Let me start by saying some of the best chicken I’ve ever had has been at steakhouses. This was not one.
The service was excellent but the restaurant is dated and rumpled.
The salad bar huge but the ingredients are subpar. The amount of artificial bacon bits in one pasta salad was criminal. The fruit was tasty. The iceburg lettuce mix bagged, not fresh. The chicken salad was good, tuna salad, not my fave. The other pasta salad very vinegar heavy. There was a good variety of toppings.
The fried chicken. Not good. Overcooked and greasy. The batter was flavorless and fell off. The gravy was interesting. Tasted like green chili’s and onions in it possibly. Waiter did not know what was in it. The baked potato was good.
For desert, I chose the creme Brule because it was made inhouse. The sugar top should be light and crispy. This was not. It was thick and burnt. Coffee cold.
The menu is dated and the overall experience was pleasant but the food fell short of the hype.
I also returned for breakfast, included with the hotel stay. Nothing spectacular, typical hotel breakfast with bagged preseasoned potatoes and boxed eggs.

Please note, this restaurant is located inside the Wyndham Hotel right after the bar towards the right. There a Benihana at this hotel as well. Hotel reception area is beautiful.
Came in for dinner at Riverfront Steakhouse, I made a reservation just to play safe and I strongly suggest it.
This place is big! Plenty of seating areas with romantic dim lights and all. There are multiple sections to sit and certain cater to large groups.
The host (wonderful dude, sorry I didn’t get his name) escorted me to my seat and then was greeted by my wonderful waitress Melissa (yes, on the picture with me). She brought me some bread with butter -that bread was super soft, fantastic with butter I must say. Ordered a cab – Mondavi and Shrimp Cocktail. Shrimps were on the smaller side from what I normally have elsewhere, nevertheless, were great! Ordered the special of the day, 8 oz. Filet mignon that came with Mash potatoes and the Salad bar.
After placing my order, got up to see the salad bars, yes bars… presentation, freshness, were top notch. They have all the flavors for whatever your taste buds desire. I kept it simple, Shredded Chicken Salad, Elbow Pasta Salad, Cucumber / Tomato / Onion salad, and the little round things which I don’t know what they are called, all four were absolutely delicious! Time for my steak, everything placed elegantly on one square plate! Steak was cooked perfectly, mash was very good and the carrots also. The food is amazing!!! And if anything is wrong, the staff will respond immediately to make your visit a great one!
For dessert, I had the Turtle Cheesecake. Chocolate on the bottom, cheesecake in the middle, with caramel and pecans on top! Another yummy experience.
Melissa was beyond great! Attentive to my needs and wants! Thank you for taking a picture with me and the restaurant manager for stopping by to say hello, much appreciated.

I’ve been here many times in 30 years. The salad bar is top notch, the is food hot and the steaks are tender and well seasoned. The wait staff have always been professional and courteous. Whether you live in town or out of state, you can’t go wrong enjoying your dinner here. I will continue to be a patron.

Delicious! Friendly staff, great service, and delicious food. The salad bar is great, the fried shrimp are huge and the baked potatoes, share they are huge. I had the 6oz filet mignon medium rare and it was delicious and cut like butter. Oh and they start with fresh yeast rolls.

I heard about Riverfront from Randy Rainwater at 103.7 the Buzz and finally took my wife and we loved it. We have been back many times since. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. Just made another reservation for the Friday before Valentines as I will be in TX watching Razorback baseball on Valentines day. Thank you Frank Fletcher. Go Hogs.

This was my first time eating at this restaurant. It did not disappoint. The salad bar was magnificent, the bone-in ribeye was cooked to a perfect medium rare, and the service matched the goodness of the food. The salad bar had fresh ingredients and they kept it stocked. My side of mushrooms were amazing. The pecan encrusted salmon was great along with a well cooked massive baked potato. Give this place a try you will not be disappointed!

My wife’s birthday we took a mosey into the steakhouse for the first time for us but the inlaws have frequented a few times I think . We got the dinner for two and the salad bar . The salad bar was pretty nice and had a lot of choices. I did notice there was not a lot of meat . (None) . The service was very good and our waiter was very attentive. The manager came by to check on us also , everyone was as nice as can be . The entree arrived with our steak and onion rings and I hate to say it was just mid . The rub on the steak had an aroma I could not get around and the steak was overcooked. We ordered medium and the farther you get from the middle it was done done and just tough. Rings were ok and the bread and butter was amazing. The atmosphere was really dark kinda like a nightclub lol but it was really really nice ! It wasn’t cheap but I will give them another shot in the future! Almost forgot ! Get the fried rice ! The best by far !

We enjoyed our anniversary dinner there tonight. Great atmosphere. Excellent friendly waiter, managers were involved in making sure everyone is enjoying themselves. Salad bar was wonderful. Bone in ribeye was the 2nd best steak in Arkansas, next to mine at home. Closed my eyes with every bite. Prime rib was perfect. Wine was a sweet red moscato that had no bitterness at all. They were so kind when they brought out an extra dessert for our anniversary. So many things were going on with my taste buds while eating the delicious dessert. Thank you for an amazing evening! I recommend dressing up nice and giving them a try. Literally best steak you can buy in Arkansas.

Fantastic steakhouse and service! The wife and I split the ribeye and it was Fantastic! Cooked perfectly and well seasoned! We ordered the small one, split it and even took some home! Our waitress was excellent! The starting rolls were also very tasty!
