Had a good lunch with the wife. I got the lobster roll which was good. My wife got the crab cake sandwich which she enjoyed.
Ask for a booth with a view or enjoy the outdoor patio weather permitting as the river view is spectacular!
The staff was friendly and our food came out in a timely manner.

I signed into Google just to post tris review. This place is GREAT! I was born and raised in Baltimore, and the crab cakes here a very good…7 out of 10 (that’s a strong rating). I’ll try to come back every time that I’m in East TN. Somehow, their fries were almost McDonald’s good.

Amazing food! Our server, Michelle, was great. After the meal, I shared with her that there were no complaints about the food, but that the establishment should consider cleaning the spiderwebs from the posts in the outside dining area. She mentioned that they always come back, but that she would still share the concern with the manager.
Unbeknownst to her, I overheard her sharing the concern with the manager as we were leaving and absolutely appreciated that it was heard and taken seriously. On top of having excellent food, this establishment also takes customer concerns seriously. An all-around winner and highly recommended.

This is my favorite seafood place to eat in Kingsport. I get the North Atlantic salmon every time because it is just amazing! I usually get the blackened salmon because it is so flavorful. The seasonal raspberry chocolate cake is to die for, I feel should be on the menu daily. ♀️ However, the gluten free caramel cheesecake and peanut butter cake was very good. Our waitress Stephanie was amazing as well the last time we were there, so personable and attentive.

I haven’t had tons of hush puppies but I can say ive never had even a decent one and omg this is the first place the hush puppies were amazing. Had the cat fish and tasted great. Food is hot and fresh. Fries tasted great too. And a beautiful view of the river.

Stopped in for the first time for lunch and the food was good to okay. The place has a cozy atmosphere and the views of the Holston River was a nice. Our server could have been more helpful as we were asking for suggestions. For the most part she acted as if we were bothering her. No it was not busy at 3:30pm and only a couple of tables had customers.
We finally just asked other waitresses for suggestions.
We ordered shrimp creole, lobster and fish.
The creole was not spicy at all, not a lot of flavor to be honest. I was actually surprised they do not devein the shrimp. The lobsters were fantastic. The fish (forgot which one) was really good. The potatoe cakes were just okay for me but my husband loved them.
All and all I would give it a second chance.

We felt truly appreciated from the moment we walked in. When I mentioned our anniversary and requested a great seat, the hostess promptly seated us in the enclosed patio, which was absolutely amazing.
Our server, Lexy, was phenomenal. She paid attention to the smallest details; for example, when our daughter requested a kids cup, Lexy went above and beyond by providing her with a purple bendy straw—her favorite color. Lexy also offered excellent recommendations and was very patient during the ordering process.
As always, the food was delicious. We visit annually from the Chattanooga area, and the experience is consistently great.
Thank you for maintaining such high standards. In closing, our daughter wanted to give you 80 million stars, so we hope the five-star maximum is enough.

Hands down best seafood in all of eastern TN. Best fried fish platters I’ve had, maybe in my life. Huge plus you can get a fried oyster platter! Also amazing hand breaded chicken! The atmosphere is so cool because it’s literally on the river, how awesome is that? The servers Karissa and Curtis are some of the best Kingsport has to offer. Love this place!

Jan. 3rd. Halibut was just great, perfectly prepared. Best baked potato I’ve had in years. Green beans almodine was good, slaw excellent, fresh cabbage, not sweet. Dessert fantastic. Waiter was professional and nice. We were impressed again.
First visit in years. Halibut was good, not great, as I remembered. Wife got grilled salmon, loved it. All the side dishes were excellent as was salad. Blackberry cake and coffee were also a good finish. Service was excellent.

Great food, great service from Matthew, I love when I can ask about a dish and the server knows his stuff and can recommend something over another option. We had the pimento cheese as an appetizer, my husband had the Cod, and the waiter recommended the spinach queso chicken to me which was so delicious. I’m not a seafood fan and my husband is the biggest, so I find other options. I also have to get the fried corn on the cob every time I visit here and a blackberry cake for the road. Highly recommend Riverfront to any and everybody.
