At first glance it seems like a regular pub bar. But as you walk in and look around it’s a high scale version of a pub, a more sophisticated and classy pub. Everything looks clean, neat, tables have wrapped up silverware and black stylish booths and tables you would see at a high class restaurant. The lighting is dim and the windows have strings of christmas type lights and the decor is full of paintings and stylish nick nacks, and they play jazz music seven days a week. They have condiments on the table including bottles of barbecue sauce and a wall of hot sauce near the door for those who like hot sauce on their food. They offer coke products and free refills, which the soda was very fresh and cold, a semi decent alcohol specialty drink section on the menu. The bathroom was very clean and had a plug in scentsy smell, very nice smell. The menu is expensive but portion size was very good, they offer a couple different items for dessert that isn’t on the menu, so you have to ask. The place is big enough for wheelchairs, with booths and tables. I’m sure you could bring your kids but from the looks of the menu I doubt young kids would like most of the food, they do however offer use of their high chairs. Prices are high but to be expected as it’s a pub and most pubs are expensive. They have a small range of tap beer, which had some items I haven’t seen before anywhere else. They accept debit, credit and cash, they do not have a atm. They have a full bar but no tv which I found odd. A minor nitpick, the menu online is vastly different than in the restaurant. One plus was the tiny gesture at the door you can grab mints and toothpicks on your way out. Another small grip, when we first got there and sat down, it took about ten minutes before ordering something to drink, it wasn’t busy so unsure on the hold up, however the girl gave great service after that. She always asked how we were doing and always refilled our drinks, she was nice and professional so I can’t say nothing bad about the remaining service.

We ordered to start and shared a bowl of chili with cheese on top with nachos on the side. My husband does not like chili but he enjoyed it very much, he says it had a rich flavor. The house salad I got wasn’t overpowering with lettuce and the dressing was very good, even though it was just your basic salad, it had oranges in it that enhanced the flavor. For my meal I got pan fried haddock, it was very flaky and very tasty. It came with seasoned french fries and coleslaw. My husband got the barbecue sampler. It’s expensive but worth it. A lot of food was brought home. You won’t leave hungry. The spicy Italian sausage was spicy but good. The ribs were a little bit dry but was still edible. The pulled pork was also a little dry but regardless my husband was happy. He says the best thing on the plate was the jalapeno cornbread, he would definitely order more of that next time.

Overall, 4 stars! ❤️

Bridget is amazing.
Ordered brisket and pulled chicken
With Mac n cheese and jalapeño cornbread

Brisket is dry and was slightly cold. Chicken had no flavor except a lot of smoke.
Mac n cheese was watery and not creamy
Jalapeño cornbread was a bit to burnt

Seems like things are warmed up and not freshly made. Been here before and it didn’t change unfortunately. Another location catered to its city.

Great lunch stop!! 5 stars on all fronts! Good portions, great service, tasty meat! We had pulled pork and shredded brisket- neither were fatty and both had an excellent flavor!

My first time dining at this restaurant was due to the chocolate walk…which i don’t think they were prepared for that many people to love a bargain on chocolate..but thats a different story. .I ordered a full rack of ribs and they were so good!!!! Would definitely like to come back to try the macaroni and cheese!

While my husband enjoyed his brisket, my Caribbean spicy fish tacos were a bit flat, not spicy at all! We had 8 of us and service was good. Avoid the fish stick with the bbq

Burger here is amazing!! Mac and cheese was a little disappointing but I love the feel of the restaurant and the welcoming energy. Service could have been better, especially since the restaurant was empty. But overall pretty good place and I will definitely be back!

Had been wanting to try this place for a while so took an opportunity to stop in after a long day and wit two more hours of driving until we got home. Server was super prompt taking our order within 2 minutes. That’s where all the positive vibes ended. After 15 minutes we asked to be sure our pulled chicken would not be doused with sauce and were assured it would not be. We waited another 20 minutes and the server came to explain the kitchen was way backed up (would have been ice to know that from the beginning) but she may not have realized it would be nearly 50 minutes before our food was brought and of the course the chicken was sauced! No matter we weren’t sending it back for fear it would take another hour! So she offered to take the chicken off the bill for one of us which was fine. The whole meal was disappointing …the pulled chicken tasted more like stewed than barbecued…very dry and relatively tasteless with no hint of Smokey bbq. Cole slaw, rice, and cornbread all also mediocre and lacking flavor. This place was one and done for us!
