Loved at this place. Love their interior. Their coffee was really good, and they have a bunch of deserts options. There was even a food menu with a lot of options, but we didn’t have the chance to order any food, so I’m not really sure about the taste, but I saw other people order food and it looked amazing.
I am also so glad that this place stays open late. It’s rare to find cafes that stay open late, and that’s a shame, so it’s great to see that there is one, especially in this area around the river.

Great bakery, with plenty of pastry and coffee options. Located right off the river walk in Wilmington, it’s great to grab a coffee and take a walk. The iced black & tan had good flavor and the peach scone was absolutely amazing. Plenty of seating inside and the place was immaculate.

A hidden gem in Wilmington and such a nice small business. I like to come here for my weekend snacks and sometimes I spend some time reading. The place is always sparkling clean and inviting. Friendly staff and good service. So far have tried their croissant and some mousse desserts. The croissant is flakey and nicely layered. Very generous with the protein serving (I normally get a salmon croissant). The mousse is silky and has the right texture and consistency (Only wish it was a bit less sweet but I’m biased there as I tend to be sensitive to sweetness). Overall a great spot to have some coffee or a snack, or to hangout with your friends.

If you go by looks, the place is an easy 5. The sampling of items I tried all looked amazing but most of them fell flat.
The cookie croissant and chocolate croissant were good; flaky and flavorful.
The scones and cookies were sawdust consistent and lacked taste. The bread pudding was just not good.

Delicious! Everything we had was fantastic. We had a almond and a chocolate croissant that we loved and came back for a second time..then third time to take some home. Also had several other items, all wonderful, the crepe, the quiches and the fruit tarts they were all perfect and they melted in my mouth, and of course I got some to take home. Each time there was a huge line, but it went very fast. Enjoyed good coffee while eating inside and the atmosphere was great with the staff being very friendly and welcoming. Will be back every time we visit Wilmington.

When I saw Bacon Scones on the menu I drove straight over. The beautiful space smelled of croissants when I walked in. The ham & cheese quiche was the BEST I’VE EVER HAD! I heated it up in the oven@ home for 10 minutes

The chicken pesto turnover was excellent cold
I heated that up and it was crispy flaky pastry flavorful chicken pesto inside.
I had a mini cupcake to go.

Definitely on the pricey side, paying for the location and aesthetic. Stopped by for a quick drink and dessert. Atmosphere was good and latte is not bad. Chocolate temptation cake was quite a pleasant surprise, with many layers of white, milk and dark chocolate. The chocolate mousse has crunchy chips. This cake is very rich but also very sweet. The white layer is hazelnut flavor cream.

Nice, clean place with open view kitchen. Atmosphere is great. The croissants , scones, cupcakes and turnovers are delicious, and I love being able to get coffee ☕️ La Colombe. Everything I’ve tried has been fresh and tasty, and the prices seem totally reasonable for the location and what you’re getting. Love this bakery!❤️ Excellent customer service as well as pastries!!!

I truly don’t know how anyone could leave less than 5 stars. They must have had unusual circumstances. I don’t know how to capture how amazing the pastries here are. They’re unlike any I’ve ever had, in the U.S or France. Make sure to get the croissant if you only get one thing. It’s light fluffy and crunchy on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. They have different croissants with different fillings but the plain on is magnificent. I also highly recommend the delicious crepes, they make it to order and you can customize it however you want sweet or savory.

This place is the best when it comes to bakeries. First up, the place is bright and welcoming before you even step in, there’s outdoor seating in a very nice area with an overlook of nature. Going inside, there’s beautiful art pieces that are local from the Delaware contemporary art museum and the aroma of the bakery is to die for. The pastries are out of this world, they were delicious and fresh made in the bakery. The staff was extremely friendly and very welcoming as well. I usually go to the Starbucks down the street but wanted to try out something new and local, I made a great choice with this one. Definitely coming back.
