Duner’s is a casual fine dining restaurant located five miles west of Charlottesville in the village of Ivy, Virginia. Our menu changes daily, allowing our chefs to use the best ingredients seasonally available. We have an extensive wine list, a full bar and a very experienced service staff. Established in 1983, our goal has always been to serve great food in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Our portions are generous, our ingredients are the finest and we want everyone who walks in the door to become a regular customer!

We made a reservation after a recommendation from a friend. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary so we wanted a special evening and Duner’s did not disappoint! Dillon was so attentive and very knowledgeable of the menu and wine list. He had excellent suggestions and the food was absolutely delicious! A gentleman (owner, manager) also stopped to talk and wish us a happy anniversary. We are so thankful to Duner’s for helping us celebrate our special occasion. ❤️ It was an exceptional dining experience.

We made a reservation and let them know that we were a bachelorette party. Dillon greeted us at the door and was so friendly and helpful with drink recommendations and anything else we needed. My food was great, my wine was amazing, and we got chai liquor coffee as after dinner drinks. Definitely a splurge, but worth every penny! Hopefully Dillon is there to make your experience a good one!

First visit to Duner’s tonight, went with some friends that recommended it 8 years ago. Very rarely does a place live up to the expectations. I’m so happy we finally tried it. We all 4 loved it. Caleb made it a fantastic experience right out of the gate. All is the food was presented nicely and cooked and seasoned perfectly. This will be a regular spot in our rotation and my wife and I are planning who to take next! Thanks, Caleb! You guys are killing it.

Incredible experience. We got the Brussels sprouts and the fries appetizer and then the ny strip and pork chop meals. Everything was fantastic. Their bread was dense and warm. So delicious. Highly recommend!

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our New Years Eve dinner at Duner’s. Needless to say the restaurant was extremely busy, the hostess was very accommodating and even cleared/re-set our table so we wouldn’t have to wait too long.

We came here for the first time for our 5-year anniversary. With a restaurant that has a “$$$” fine dining rating, I expected the atmosphere to be a bit more elevated. Nonetheless, we did not want to judge a book by its cover. It took several minutes for our server to come to our table once we were seated. Upon her arrival, she never introduced herself, so frankly, I can’t even tell you her name. We ordered our drinks and immediately wanted to place two appetizer orders. We were told right away that the soft shell crab was out, but she would quickly try to put an order in for the lamb lollipops. She returned to our table and said she wasn’t quick enough and they were out of that now as well. It was a bit upsetting to have both our top choice appetizers unavailable and this was a 7 PM reservation! Not even halfway into dinner service and you are already out of these items?

We have gone there three times during the last several months and the menu has not changed. This is not the previous Duners, where everything was excellent, all the time! The owner needs a new attitude, if he wants to stay in business. The staff are excellent but the menu is mediocre at best. The New York strip steak really was about the worst I have had in my life. You guys need to put more effort into what you are serving.

We sat in the covered tent area. There were 2 temperatures. Freezing or burning up. The heat runs on full blast for a bit and then turns off. Miserable. Restaurant is old. Furnishings are old. Food is okay.
