Incredible food here and the owner, Manuel was so interesting to talk to. He has a lot of local historical knowledge and was so kind and welcoming. The clam chowder really stood out with large clam pieces, and the barbequed (everything) oysters were so tasty I have been craving them ever since. Cash only so bring cash or get some at the bank 2 blocks away.

Cash only. Came here for raw oysters. They were the biggest oysters I had and the value for them was great! Fresh, creamy, sweet and the cocktail sauce with it was perfect. The owner is so friendly and showed us the oysters before they were shucked. Would come back!

This place has the biggest Oysters I have ever seen or eaten. The Chowder was amazing. The hamburger was real beef not some prepackaged pattie. It’s a mom pop place so don’t think you’re going to get fast service. This is a take your time place. They wait on you and cook your food and smoking Oysters and waiting tables takes talent. I am so glad we stopped. So friendly

If you’re a oyster lover, this hidden gem is a must-visit. The BBQ oysters are perfectly smoky and tender, and the clam chowder is rich and creamy. The service is top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff. It feels like a hole in the wall. Surprising it doesn’t have more reviews, it’s the perfect spot to satisfy your BBQ oyster cravings. Don’t miss out!

Driving from Canada all the way to the Redwoods. Best oysters and clam chowder that we’ve had so far! Manuel the owner was great to talk to and had all the information about oysters and the town.

Excellent food, We had the sauteed Captains platter & added 2 smoked oysters they were very large & awesome, They could use better cut of fries, The ones we got were small thin cut & they overcook real easy. Just ask for fresh fries or pass on them. Service was great and a good homey feel. We went back a few months later & got more smoked oysters

Stopped here on a drive down the coast for the grilled oysters, we were not disappointed! We enjoyed the grilled and fresh oysters, clam Chowder, cod sandwich and grilled salmon sandwich. No complaints! Cash only, ran by a nice couple – food seems made to order so be prepared to wait a bit, we found it very worth it!

Cute hole in wall joint with some of the best oysters I’ve ever had! The BBQ oysters are a MUST! I drive several hours just for them. Family owned and opperated, and the food is made fresh, so you may wait a minute, but it’s well worth it. My boyfriend said he would wait an hour for those oysters. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.
