Delicious food and artisanal drinks. Great staff. Gluten free options. Our favorite restaurant in this area and We are from over an hour away. Staff (Noah) was our waitress both times we visited and she was great at helping us make our food and drink selections! We had the swordfish and cod with lobster sauce over mashed potatoes…both were amazing!

I’m undecided about this place. Lunch menu has very little items to choose from. Very expensive for food that should not be! Atmosphere is pretty. The restaurant closes at 2pm and then reopens for dinner at 4pm. Didn’t see dinner menu so I can’t rate. Cocktails were very good. Wait staff was pleasant, but right to the point. Business only. So I’ll leave this rating up to the individual to decide for themselves.

Wow, staff without manners! Unimpressed with how staff responds to customers. We opened the door to enter and a young male waiter jumped though like we opened the door for his single purpose. He didn’t thank us or acknowledged that the door opened at all. Continued theme with other staff who seem to act as if customers were meant to serve them.

Did take out here and they add 20% gratuity for the kitchen when you order take out which is fine since the bartender made that very clear. We told her we were gonna be at little house brewery and she delivered the food right to us (across the street). We did have to grab the cutlery at the bar at the brewery which was fine. We ordered the pork buns which were good but would had liked more hoisin and sour pickles vs. sweet. We also ordered the burger at medium but it was over cooked by the time it arrived. It was good and juicy but at the same time it was missing some flavor and could have used ketchup or more aioli. They also cut the burger in half for us since we were sharing. The French fries were delicious and perfect! They had a nice amount of salt. I would ask for some ketchup next time so I could dip them. We also got the eggplant casserole which was good but needed some salt and may be better over pasta but a nice no carb dish! It was similar to an eggplant parm. You could tell they use quality ingredients. It was awesome how they easily delivered the food to us! The staff was friendly too! Overall a nice experience and they have a lot of great variety of alcohol at their bar. Would like to try them at their restaurant too!

Went to dinner last night at this incredible restaurant. I had the Roasted Shad and others had the Rib Eye and the Tofu Bowl. All of them absolutely perfection. The Caesar Salad met my approval and I consider myself to be one of the best AUTHENTIC Caesar Salad experts. Their Caesar is authentic. Now for the dessert . . . Baked Date Pudding with Caramel-Rum Sauce — there are no words. One has to try it to experience it. If you go just for that, it’s worth the trip.

River Tavern is my go to lunch place – I say lunch because I have not had dinner there, but given the lack of quality lunch places that are not just sandwich places (not that there is anything wrong with that!) River Tavern is an Oasis of Culinary Deliciousness. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable about the menue and always had a smile.

This is a nice restaurant; dined here multiple times; but may not return. The iced tea is served in 4 1/2 oz glasses. I had four refills to the tune of 15 dollars. Being from Houston, I can drink six large glassesof tea with two whole lemons perfectly cut for $3.50

Don’t come here if you have celiac or food allergies. Was told that the kitchen staff will not take any special precautions to avoid cross contamination. A shame, as we are local and had been coming here for years without problem. Appears to be under new management. If you take care to avoid contaminating your food with salmonella or E. coli, it is eminently possible to do the same with gluten! Thankfully there are plenty of other area establishments willing to accommodate.
