I’m not sure what happened, but this visit was highly disappointing. Ordered the beef & chicken rice platter this time. The salad was three bites at most. Didn’t get any red or white sauce on either platter. The flavor was ok…portions were not sufficient for the price. Highly doubt I’ll go back.

As always, the food from this truck is without question some of the best that I have had in Kansas City. That is saying a lot with the number of eateries up here, but I don’t say it in vain. Today I had the gyro fries and falafel side, and they were on point, meaty, and the perfect food for riding home 3 hours. I have never had a bad plate from these guys, and this one didn’t disappoint either!

Delicious Vegan Options!! Falafel Gyro, Falafel Platter or Falafel Salad. They make the falafels from scratch (with chickpeas & fava beans), his own personal recipe, and make the white garlic sauce drizzeled over the Falafel Platter from scratch and it’s dairy free. And the fresh made juices are so so yummy! You can order online and pick up, or order at the food truck window (parked all the time at the corner of 133rd & State Line, in the BP gas station parking lot). The people are friendly, food is flavorful and fresh!

What was once a great place with great gyro fries, has now become a shell of what it used to be. First was the constant turn around of employees. Finding someone that worked there long enough to properly make them was an issue. Then there was a major issue with consistent portion sizes. I understand the need to make a profit but one night I shouldnt have enough food to feed a family of 3 and have left overs still too the very next night getting an order so small that 6 forkfuls on the way home was the entire plate. We are talking about fries that cost more than a large 3 topping pizza across the street at dominos. So it was very hit or miss the last couple years. Unfortunately it got worst not better. I honestly don’t even know what this hot garbage is sitting in my lap right now. No more fresh cut fries. They’re bulk crinkle cut things. Well cooked meat of 2 varieties has now become what looks like a sliced up summer sausage and that’s the only kind of meat. only a trace of the white sauce. I mean some DNA evidence and that’s it. And sriracha sauce has been replaced with some stuff that looks like that packet sweet and sour sauce from QT. Place was great when the two owners worked it. Might give one last chance but not likely. For real, this order I just got is junk.

First of all I am a huge fan of halal and have been eating it all over the northeast part of the country. This food was a pretty big big disappointment. The food was bland (no sauce) and the there was hardly any chicken or rice. I would’ve been a lot better off going to McDonald’s or Taco Bell lol

The only good thing about this place was the fast service, is just a food truck but it doesn’t have any tables or chairs at least I’ve seen others that have that option. I noticed the place is always empty and now I know why. The food is not Mediterranean at all, the portions are very small for the price and the flavor is not Mediterranean. I’m also questioning the food quality. If the prices where 30% less of what they are now I think this will be Okay because then someone knows what you are paying for is not great. I will not recommend this and I don’t think I’m going to be back.

Garbage. Practically no meat in the gyro. I asked for a salad. Old brown lettuce with no dressing. If you know Mediterranean food… don’t eat here.
