You don’t need to go to Philadelphia for a cheese steak no more. Holy hell, this place is serving up one of the best cheesesteaks I’ve ever had in New Jersey. Yes, I’ve been to Philly before and yes, I would put this sandwich up to the best there.

Don’t let this place’s exterior fool you, this place has something for everyone. The prices are fair and the beer selection caters to both beer aficionados and standard us domestics. The food is also worth checking out. This bar is also clearly a local watering hole but by no means locals only.

River Road Tavern is a great local pub and eatery. The inside and outside seating is awesome. The staff including the manager made sure we were well taken care of, happy and satisfied. We met the owner and had a great chat. All my friends were very impressed by the service and I really appreciated that. Will return soon!
