My wife and kids went there for lunch recently and the place we used to go to and Love is not the same any more. We always would get the Winter White pizza and for years it has been amazing, but now it is just an average pizza, my wife actually thought they got the order wrong but that was not the case. Not sure what happened here. Also my kids basic pepperoni pizza was undercooked. We would have asked for another pizza or for them to fix it, but it took almost 40 mins to get the two so they just ate the parts that were cooked. It appears that the experienced crew that used to work is not working anymore and a bunch of teenagers who are not trained properly are now running the entire place. The pizza used to be so good. Not the case any more. Super disappointing! We won’t be going back.

I like Ice cream in a cone at River House, whatever they are sober with special flavors, like watermelon, roast strawberry and raspberry.
I ordered two scoops of mint chocolate chips and key lime pie in a cone. It is a tasty choice with a little acid from key lime pie and a little sweet flavor from chocolate chips.
What a great flavor of complex.

Pizza is good but last 2 time we had to wait 1hr for them to come out. Not much seating. Not sure if they burned the pizzas and started new ones but is did smell that way.

Great wood oven pizza in the historic Ellicott City area. The crust is great! All the pizzas are $12 for a 12″ pizza and I think it’s worth the money.

The fact that this is Wood fire pizza makes it really good… the unique pizza flavors this place has makes it AWESOME. The only knock I have on this restaurant is that the wait can be long, at times.

The pizza is great and we like coming here after we walk around Ellicott City. It’s in the same space as ScoopAHHdeedoo ice cream, which is also great.
