We had a very nice time! Service was great; our waiter was personable and we had hot food on our table what felt like minutes after ordering! There are 10 tables or less, I believe, so though we didn’t have to wait (we got there about 5:15pm) you might have to if you get there during a rush. They had several different specials (one pictured in this review) and were able to accommodate a dietary request in our group. There was a fairly wide variety of choices on the menu, even without considering the specials. It was not very loud, which was great. We brought baby in a car seat, which was accommodated by putting her car seat on a booster seat; this was the best for the 4 top table and space we had, and was not too difficult to make comfortable for us (we just put the diaper bag at our feet under the table).

10/10. Every single bite was perfection.
I ordered the Chicken Portobello, smothered in creamy garlic Parmesan sauce and sautéed mushrooms, paired with their buttery seasoned corn and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was juicy, perfectly grilled, and that sauce was rich, smooth, and full of flavor without being too heavy.
We also had the ribeye topped with crispy fried mushrooms and Parmesan cheese, served with cheesy grits and WOW. The steak was cooked to perfection, tender, well-seasoned, and the fried mushrooms added the perfect crunchy, savory bite. Those cheese grits were creamy, rich, and the perfect comfort-food side.
Portions were generous, presentation was beautiful, and every plate was packed with bold, comforting flavor.
If you’re in the Duncan area and looking for a place that truly delivers quality, flavor, and a real treat-yourself dining experience — River Falls Café is a must.

Love, love, love this place. We needed a good sit down restaurant in the area. The regular menu is great but the specials are next level. Highly recommend River Falls Cafe for the cozy atmosphere, great food, and outstanding service.

i’ve ordered here multiple times now the portions are extremely small today …? im so confused i literally just got a side of street corn on wednesday i came back friday for another order of street corn along with my meal and they forgot the street corn . i returned today so they could fix my order and when i got all the way home i open the street corn container to find a tiny scoop of corn with barely any of the good toppings it had before … im so disappointed im new to the area and thought i’d found a gem restaurant i geuss i was wrong … they also encouraged me to write this review about my dissatisfaction and with that attitude of theirs i will never return ….. a baby scoop of corn is absurd the portions didn’t just change overnight y’all are really pitiful if you were low in stock your could’ve said that i would’ve got anything else honestly

Relatively new spot. But had never been. Finally made it this past Saturday. Smelled wonderful inside, like gumbo or some stew had been on all day.
Seat yourself, we sat near back of the room. Service was really nice, we just had waters and got some of the days specials. I had hot honey fried chicken w/ broccoli and fries. Wifey got the French dip Sammie, and the kid got jambalaya pasta. All of it was delicious. I mean it was very tasty. I mean, nothing fancy about broccoli. But the hot honey chicken was a whole breast and the seasoning on the batter was so good and the way it was all crunchy and golden brown just made it even more savory. It was steamy hot for a good bit. The jambalaya was very tasty and very saucy. The French dip was typical,but also very tasty. All of us were very full and satisfied with our meal. We got dessert after that. A bowl of banana pudding and slice of key lime pie. The was Inna small bowl, and had a great banana taste. No nilla waffers, but did have sprinkle of peanuts on top or some kind of crumble with whip cream. The key lime was a nice wide slice with raspberry and lime drizzle all over. The pie alone was delicious, but when you got a swirl of the raspberry and lime drizz. Nice touch.
We must have been hungry cos I didn’t even get a pic. A bit pricey for our family of three but worth it. And the kid got some leftovers and that was even better later she said.

The food was adequate. Small portions with a big price. The chicken in the sandwich was as thin as the bacon but with less flavor.
My husband ordered a cuban sandwich which had a small sliver of meat on a narrow bread.
The buffalo dip was good, and the chips are great.

When I tell you the food was amazing, I mean the food was AMAZING! I had the steak tips with the peppercorn mushroom sauce and that sauce was phenomenal! My hubs had the mixed grill and he too was impressed. The server was absolutely wonderful as well. He had a great energy and knew his menu WELL! I definitely recommend checking this little gem out if you’re in the area!!

My daughter and I just picked this place after a volleyball tournment not knowing anything about it. Let me tell you it was amazing!!! I had the Tuscan chicken dinner plate and my daughter had the Alfredo pasta. The pasta was some of the best we have ever had!! The chicken dinner was juicy and had so much flavor. The staff and chef were top notch!! Run dont walk!! Don’t let the outside fool you or you will miss out on some of the best food!

Came in on a Thursday night(2-24) around 6 and was able to get a table right away. They had 2 young ladies working the floor. Our waitress was friendly and nice. She was on point. Everything we got was very good. The shrimp and grits were the best I’ve had all year. Their banana pudding was so good I’ve never had pudding like that before. The texture was different in a good way. I didn’t know what to expect when I got there because there was only one other couple eating when I walked in. I would say it’s definitely worth checking out if you want some good food with good service.

I ordered the Jambalaya Pasta ($20) and my husband ordered the smash burger that was on special. It was all 10/10. Whatever sauce they used for the pasta was amazing. My husband and I are pretty harsh critics when it comes to food, and RF Cafe knocked it out of the park. Plus the waitress was great. Attentive but not overwhelming. She was always smiling and seemed to enjoy being there. All around a great experience.
