Late afternoon dinner for two. No wait; quickly sat at booth; free peanuts available while you wait. Our server Rachel was over quickly for orders; we got the five onion rings for a warm-up — they were huge! And very good; we both had burgers— there’s at least 15 to choose from — we both enjoyed our burgers and the shoestring type fries. Our server checked on us frequently— we left very full and satisfied! Good stop! We would do this again.

Was looking for a good burger place in a Myrtle and stumbled upon River City Cafe. Loved the collection of state license plates they had inside. The free peanuts were also nice to munch on while we waited. Lots of different burger options on the menu. I tried the Kitchen Sink Burger Platter and wow it sure is a masterpiece. For its price, you can’t beat it and it makes for great leftovers

We came during a busy lunch rush. Everyone was hustling, and the service never suffered. Fun environment, family friendly.

Cool atmosphere. We had paper on the tables that the girls were able to color on. Waitstaff was very considerate and grateful at checking in with us. Our glasses were never empty.

Great burgers. Crunchy not too salty peanuts. Kids meal macaroni definitely looked like Kraft. Liked the souvenir cups. Would have given a 5 star for food but the sides of cole slaw were room temp. Bathrooms could have been cleaner.

Onions rings were great!! Burgers and steak sandwich and wings were underaverage! Cheap ketchup was nasty and fries were a bit soggy. Service was ok at best. Restraunt was nice but very overpriced. We googled best burgers in North Myrtle Beach and this came up. Do not fall for it, do yourself and your family a favor and go somewhere else. Not worth the money!!!

Stopped in on Saturday night had to wait about an hour due to high volume in the restaurant no big deal. Came with a fairly large group of people including two special needs children. Immediately after checking in I was a little thrown off when we were approached by what seemed like a floor manager gentleman who asked my friend if the dog they had with was a service dog because it didn’t have on a vest (sensory issues the dog doesn’t wear a vest because of that) there was a child that was clearly disabled in a wheelchair so I’m not really sure where his thought process was coming from. It wasn’t asked in a way that showed any empathy and it honestly made me feel a little uncomfortable. I have never seen this question asked at ANY place we have ever been.

Waited 45 minutes for a table. Waited another 45 minutes for our food. Got chewed up by mosquitoes outside. Waiter was hard to find and rarely checked in, but was pleasant and kid during those visits. Slaw had capers, which was weird. Kids Mac and cheese was from a box. No soap on the outside sink. No paper towels in the men’s bathroom and the bathroom was dirty. Onion rings we’re just big fried halves of onion. Meh. Go anywhere else.
