We dropped in for a late afternoon/early dinner cheeseburger and Onion rings after some pickleball at Midway Park. A quiet moment in between lunch and dinner, Shelby, our server was friendly and professional. We ordered two Bacon jalapeño cheeseburgers and an order of Onion rings (bands?). The onion rings perfectly fried and taste great. There’s largest one was nearly 2″ tall, equivalent to 3 or 4 normal Onion rings. The Onion itself was sweet and had a perfect translucent color, the coating has a nice crunch and flavor, so we ate a bit more than we normally do. The burger is nice and thick, nice bacon and brioche bun with a cheddar cheese sub for the smoked Gouda on mine. Although I prefer my burger a little pink in the middle, I didn’t request it cooked my way, so I can’t complain that it was cooked through, therefore reducing the juiciness of the fat patty itself. Overall, this ala carte cheeseburger for $12 is a fair price, the $9 SuperSize Onion rings also. We look forward to our next visit during a busier time of day and will update this review accordingly. Overall, we give the expired license plate covered walls, butcher paper table coverings, Tv’s food and nice staff a 5. Shelby, our server added to the positive vibe during our experience.

This place used to be really good. Maybe they just had an off day. Service was decent. I mean drinks were filled and food was fast but I felt almost rushed despite the restaurant not being full, I know that doesn’t necessarily mean that they weren’t busy.
I ordered the pickle burger and I received it with no pickles but it did have the pickle chips. I’d already ate a quarter of it before realizing it so I wasn’t going to complain because it was still decent, the burger itself seemed to lack seasoning or something I can’t quite put my finger on. Chili cheese fries were kind of soggy but tasted decent.
The souvenir cups are pretty cool and I usually visit this place every time I come to MB but will probably skip this place the next time I visit.

My wife and I really enjoyed the food. It was hot fresh and taste great. The Philly Cheese Steak I ordered from here taste better than the one I had in Philadelphia a few months ago! I am very impressed. It was seasoned well and cooked to perfection.

I stepped out the box a little and tried their fork&knife burger definitely a 10/10 homemade burger on Texas toast smothered in gravy onions & mushroom!! And not let me forgot the waiter Anthony was A1!! Restaurant very clean!! Not disappointed at all “different is better” !

1st time here. Some plus’, the hamburger bun was normal and steamed well. I hate it when a restaurant tries to church up a burger with a thick bun. Onion rings were out of sight good. The service was good and the atmosphere was pleasing. My wife had a hot dog and I’m glad I didn’t get one.
I live where the best hot dogs on the planet are made. This one was split, fried and just wasn’t what I class as a hot dog. She liked it and said the dog was good. My burger was cooked very good and was not overcooked.
No real negatives. I’d like a more Southern Hot Dog. Albemarle NC has the best IMOP and they are what all are judged by. Whispering pines cooks them how I love them.

The best burgers on the beach. This location is bigger and newer than the original (that opened on 21st Avenue North in 1985) but it’s the same great food but on Ocean Blvd. Make sure you park across the street where it’s free snd stay away from the parking meters (which expire quickly). The original burger with everything is the best. Enjoy the free peanuts and take hone the cool plastic cups.

We were in town for a golf outing and this wonderful place was right next door to our lodging. We were there a couple of times and the service and staff were wonderful. The burgers are excellent and the fried bologna sandwich was awesome. Will be going back on next years trip.

Our server, Anthony was great. The food was really good and at a fair price. We ate somewhere else the next day and it wasn’t great and way more expensive for less quality food. I told my wife we should have just gone back to River City. Lesson learned lol.

I don’t do a lot of reviews unless I’m traveling from out of town, but this place truly was so unique and delicious. We are staying at the Ocean reef hotel which is right beside and needed a first meal in town from driving 6 hours today to get here for our trip. The first bite of the burger made me want to try the entire menu. Truly so so good. You will not regret eating here. Also the atmosphere is so cool and fun.
