Yesterday, I visited Rivaaj Restobar and tried the Telangana Mutton Curry with Butter Naan. The food was absolutely delicious—rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked.
I’ve also ordered from them multiple times through Uber Eats, and the quality has always been consistent. Whether dining in or ordering online, the taste never disappoints.

We loved the biryani so much that we visited this place twice in one week. The taste is really good, and the rice is cooked perfectly. It doesn’t have any artificial or plastic-like taste. The aroma and flavor are very fresh and authentic.
The Chicken 65 is flavorful and well made. Overall, this is one of the best places in Halifax for biryani. It definitely helps when you’re missing home. Even the pani puri, gajar ka halwa was good. Would definitely recommend.

From the moment we walked in, the ambiance truly lived up to its promise—an authentic Indian vibe just as described on their website. The customer service was warm and attentive, making us feel genuinely welcome.
Each dish was presented in fine-dining style, and the staff thoughtfully asked about any nut allergies before serving. They even changed the cutlery with every course, which added a refined touch to the meal.
One of the highlights was the freshly brewed masala chai, served in a traditional street-style cup. The flavor and presentation were so unique—I’ll never forget it!
From the food to the drinks, everything was exquisite. My only suggestion would be to improve the lighting in the dining area; once the sun went down, it felt a bit too dim.
I’m thrilled to see this new gem in town and can’t wait to return for another delightful evening.

I used to love going to Adda when I lived downtown 4 years ago. We went there almost every evening for chai. I’ve also been to Besharam twice and it’s amazing. I live in Bedford now and am so glad Rivaaj opened up right next to my house! I’ve been there twice already. All three places are wonderful and the best Indian food in Halifax.
We went to Rijaav to try their Diwali special meal. It was delicious and a great deal! Highly recommend the garlic naan, dal makhni and gobi manchurian. Definitely going back soon!

Absolutely the best Indian food I have experienced in HRM. This place has only been here for 3 months so getting their name out is important. Located off of Larry Utek. The atmosphere feels right and is so clean. The staff were very polite and the food was the best part. We had chicken tikka masala and chicken vindaloo. The flavour profiles were perfect in my opinion. I definately recommend this place be somewhere you try for yourself.

Wow! I loved this place , the decor was top notch and a relaxing atmosphere.
The food was amazing I had the cotton Curry and the flavors were superb ,It was so good I lapped the gravy up with the flat bread.
The service was exceptional to say the least,infact some of the best service I’ve had in a restaurant in a very long time.
I will definitely be going back!

I had gone to an Indian restaurant. The ambiance and food there were really good. The service and interior were also excellent. I had ordered Kaju Paneer Masala, Garlic Naan, and Viraj Paneer Tikka — and I highly recommend this place.

Food was really good. My fav was fish pakora and kaju chicken ghee roast. The rich blend of nuts and ghee gives it a royal, Shahi taste that’s absolutely irresistible. Fish Mandi was really light and flavorful — not heavy like biryani, just perfectly balanced and easy to enjoy.
