Great vibes. Good cocktails. Food options are limited but great taste. I ordered a salad which was listed as v for vegetarian but it came with prosciutto. Admitting the mistake, they waived off my 5 drinks from the bill which was great gesture. Also, the manager apologized atleast 5 times for the mistake and assure to make corrections to the menu. They also have a bakery and deliver cakes and pastries to your table at the rooftop which is really awesome.

Food was good. Didn’t have a whole lot to choose from which made it easier to pick from. Love the atmosphere. Went closer to closing hours so our waitress was busy cleaning and didn’t attend to us as much as we’d like but we have a good experience overall.

We live in the neighborhood and wanted to check out the new Riva Terrace in the new luxury Four Seasons Hotels. The hotel’s lobby was nicely decorated and the staff were friendly and attentive. We rode the elevator to the 4th floor and walked out to the terrace. We arrived a bit early of our reservation and were seated right away. Our servers were Richard (a veteran with the hotel by way of London UK) and “trainee” Natalie (a local graduate from Augsburg College) – we were pleased with the level of service provided by all the staff on the terrace. I am not a fan of prosecco, ordered the Crystal Palace cocktail anyway and was very pleased with how it tasted. Our friend enjoyed his First Light cocktail as well. We had Truffle Fries and Eggplant Fries and they were delicious! Our friends order the Grilled Peterson Ranch Skirt Steak Tagliata, and the Albacore Tuna Crudo and were content with their meal. I ordered the Panini (which came with a small arugula salad) and my wife got the Pan-Roasted Skuna Bay Salmon Both were very good. I could not finish the Panini and had it boxed. We finished the lunch with the Hazelnut Ice Cream (1 scoop per person) and that wrapped up the delicious lunch outing. Riva Terrace and its staff gave us a very pleasant first visit. We will be back with another couple next month. 4-star due to a limited menu.

Enjoyed a rooftop dinner on with two others last night. A vibrant patio and accompanying pool area for guests’ of the FS. There were multiple tables to be seated at (all with a 4 person capacity), along with bar seating and lounge/couch areas. Our table ordered 3 specialty cocktails ($15/each), the Riva burger, crab cakes (a nightly special) and the grilled Peterson ranch skirt steak tagliata (note; not the pasta tagliatelle). While the food tasted good it didn’t exceed our expectations for being a restaurant in the Four Seasons. Overly dressed salads, and the steak was awfully tough for requesting medium rare. For dessert we had a scoop of mango sorbet and the bongo (Hazelnut Ice Cream Profiteroles, Dark Lava Chocolate Sauce, Toasted Hazelnut). The highlight would have been the bongo dessert. In total our meal cost $147 before tip. Will come back again but perhaps just for cocktails.

Very nice rooftop with live music. Great view both to skyline and Hennepin bridge. We just had cocktails as we were heading to dinner. I will go back again and try some food too. Very good rooftop option with live music in Minneapolis.

We went for our first time to the aperitivo hour. Atmosphere and service was great. The cocktails were just ok. Food: arancinis and fries where tasty but small portions. They don’t specify that the “Choose 3 for $25” are basically half the portion of the regular size appetizer, so you are paying more for less, not what you expect of a happy hour / aperitivo hour.
The artichoke dip didn’t taste at all like artichoke.. very bland, and the Allora Spritz was way too watery.

Unfortunately had a terrible experience. Was offered a type of seating then they told us they were all reserved even though we had a reservation. They then sat us at a table for 6 and there was only 2 of us, gave us water and then made us get up and move without saying anything the server picked up the menus and I had to ask if we needed to move and she said yes. We then ordered drinks that with prosecco that were completely flat. I tried to get the waitresses attention for 20 minutes when she finally came back I watched her pour my drink in a new cup and give it back. Very unfortunate because I was hoping it could be a regular cocktail spot.

Service and atmosphere is good! But the food is pretty terrible. There are two vegetarian options, the pizza and the pasta. Wouldn’t recommend either. Definitely more of a drinks and maybe snacks type place.
