We stopped here because we DoorDash and had picked up from here once and needed a new place to eat. We were NOT disappointed. I am a salsa and chips fanatic and I love both salsas they give you when you eat-in! We tried the chicken burrito and OMG it is to die for. It’s the best burrito I have had in a long time. So much flavor! I recommend it. They have Hispanic music playing which sets the vibe. Pretty clean, overall.

The shredded beef taco was a little too greasy for my liking but still had really good flavor.
The green and red mixed burrito was delicious. The meats were tender. The beans had nice flavor as well. I did like the overall balance of flavor that came from the green chile. I wish there was a little more heat in the sauces. The staff were friendly and I felt very welcomed when I walked i! Great burrito!

I got there at 7pm on a friday and the place was pretty clean. I ordered a 3 way burrito and 2 beef tacos for $25. Had my order in 12-15 minutes. The burrito blew out on the 3rd bite and the taco shells didn’t make it to the first bite before falling apart. The food was ok, i didn’t care for the sauce in the burrito. It wasn’t bad, just not for me. Give them a try.

The taste of food was as good as original. Burrito was smaller and flat. Salsa was great. Spent $32 for 2 flat burritos and two sodas. Waited over 30 minutes and nobody was before us. They did have some call in orders so maybe that was the wait. Not impressed. I’m sticking to the one on 12th street.

I was working last night and was hungry decided to go here since it was near by. When I got there, there was only 3 customers in there so I was pretty happy to know that my food would be prepared at decent timing. There was only two people working. The young man did not look happy to be there. No smile or “Hi, how are you.” Just straight to the point, “What can I get you?” Which was fine but off putting, since I’ve worked in restaurants before. I told him I would like a burrito but hadn’t been there before and asked for a recommendation. He said the green chili burrito, very direct. So I ordered that, food was ready quickly. The burrito was just that, a green chili sauce with a few pieces of pork. I was hungry and I paid for it so I ate it. Not 30 minutes after I was rushing to the restroom. And early this morning have been to the restroom continuously. I get it I had chile but damn. I think I’m good not going back or ever eating anything new again. also I hope that young man has a better day.

My son recommended this restaurant to us and we are glad we tried it. Some of the items are on the expensive side, but we really enjoyed the food and they do serve very large portions. We paid approximately $40 for three of us to eat. The food is packed with flavor and the staff was friendly. This is not a full service restaurant with wait staff. There is dine in seating, but it is a walk up and order counter. They bring the food to you, but it is not waited on service. My husband ordered an enchilada style bean burrito and I ordered the shredded beef taco and side of rice. No complaints here. We recommend giving it a try and will return ourselves.

This is a review of the last 2 times we’ve been here, though apparently I didn’t take pictures from both.
Overall, my husband Loves this place…mainly because of the beans that are cooked with lard.
I like the food too but the service can be a bit slow. It definitely was tonight! The chips tasted like they had expired though we didn’t notice till the end when our bowl of beans was gone. Great combo and probably better with fresh chips.
This will remain a place we visit when in Surprise. 🙂

Most underwhelming restaurant experience I’ve had in a long time. We sat at our table for 15 minutes before our food and drink order was taken. (There was only one other party in the restaurant). Another 10 minutes went by before our food and drinks were brought out together. Food was fine but definitely not worth the cost. Quality of the food and the portion sizes do not match the prices.
