I always enjoy Rita’s. They have yummy products and friendly, patient staff who are willing to help and explain the choices of flavors or options. My “go to” is a Cherry and vanilla Gelati (Italian ice with custard)

I’m used to eating happy ice in LA and I was trying to find a substitute. First time I came it all tasted too sweet. I tried them again with a different flavor (sour patch) with the whipped topping and I have found a match! I wish they had dairy free options for the whipped creamy topping but it was delicious.

Very good on a warm/hot day. Nothing great about the ice cream but still good place to go. Customer service was really good as well. You can sample a few of the flavors first. I would go back!

Ripoff!!! I ordered a cone and while I was paying for it I noticed it sounded hollow. I mentioned it to them and they gave me a ludicrous response that they do that on purpose so the cone doesn’t get soggy. I’ve been eating ice cream cones all my life and that isn’t how they work. They just want to rip you off. Getting an ice cream cone is supposed to make you happy, I was left frustrated and wanting a real ice cream cone.

That was the most awkward and weirdest experience ever. I never write reviews but after that I had too. I walked in and all 3 ladies that were working stared at me like I was the dumbest person on the planet. I’ve never been in before and wasn’t sure what I was ordering. I asked for two scoops of a certain Gelato and was given this…I seriously thought it was a joke. One gal asked if I wanted more what to order so I paid and left. Super unwelcoming.

Glad Indy has this fun spot. It can serve as a cool tasty treat on a hot summer day or even just something sweet after dinner. I love the cherry flavor. Service was fast and friendly!
