The children working there need better supervision. I went there this past Wednesday. The young lady with the braces and red hair, spent two minutes laughing in my face. Continued having a conversation with the boy back there, then acknowledged me. I gave her a look and she said “sorry.” I asked her three times for tops for my frozen ice. Once she gave me my order, I asked again for the tops and a cup holder. She took the ice and scooped the top of the flavored ice, off each cup, and put it back into the mix (in the freezer they serve from). Then put the tops on the counter. If my child didn’t want to try the new flavors, I would’ve asked for a refund. We opened the wild blackberry today and made it half way though the cup before we found HAIR! She was playing with her hair, playing with the boy in the back, while she was taking our order. Look at the cameras. This was between 4-5 PM on April 9, 2025.

It’s disappointing to see Rita’s in Dover sending their employees out in a worn-out, dirty costume for promotions. It doesn’t reflect well on the brand and honestly feels disrespectful to the workers who have to wear it in public. Cleanliness and presentation matter — not just for the store but for how your team is treated too. Hope management takes this seriously and invests in a cleaner, better-quality costume next time.

Very bad customer service. The lady. Her ice cream order too. She wrote her eyes at us, and then we ordered like a large milkshake. She got us a small milkshake. So clearly she doesn’t listen to her job and don’t go to this place

I am not sure how this store has a 4.5 star. Everytime I visit this location it’s something. Either low on flavors, long wait times but tonight there was no large cups! Then I asked for compensation and the manager (black girl, glasses with long braids) just flat out says no. The customer service is terrible. Then it’s workers in there but only one person doing orders. At the last hour someone jumps in to help. I’ll drive to Milford before I go back to this location!

I didn’t even get to buy anything. Employees (like 5 people) were walking around while one person worked the window took one guys order and then walked away when he paid. Actually saw an employee walk up make himself a gelati and walk back to the back. I waited for far too long for the amount of employees in there. So I left.

Water ice was great today, but save your money by not getting the Reeses Concrete. The picture looked like the Reeses Blizzard at the Dairy Queen, but trust me, it wasn’t even close. It was chocolate custard that was 3/4 melted with chopped peanut butter cups floating around in it…really nasty!!!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE… me and my family came to get water ice and left with anger. The little black girl with braces is so disrespectful she needs to be fired. She has no customer service at all. My mom asked if she could take our order and she replied “I’m standing her aren’t i” plain disrespectful. No home training what so ever. Never coming back.
