On 10/27/25 around 5:30 pm the store was closed, signs said open till 8:00. This is the third time this has happened, Management needs to make sure workers are onsite and the store is open. Just remember Tasty Freeze is just down the road.

We frequently stop by Rita’s throughout the season. I really love the mango Italian Ice. They have different flavors everyday. You can go on there website and see what flavors they have for the day, which is pretty cool. The prices aren’t to bad either. The location isn’t the greatest. It’s on S Reading Rd which is always busy and the parking lot is super tiny so getting in and out is a pain.

The ice itself is fantastic, just can’t give the ephrata Rita’s 5 stars because the vibes are bad. They need some music playing or something to bring a little life to the place. Customer service was excellent

The sign on the wall says closes at 10, google says 10 as well. I get there at 8:50 with my family from out of state and everything was already pretty much closed. I ordered a gelati and she kept double checking I wanted custard because she didn’t seem to want to use the machine. Got my gelati and literally. NO CUSTARD LAYERS like it’s supposed to have. My daughter the same.

I went to Rita’s in Ephrata by myself to get three Italian ice for my family and myself. The girls working were very short and rude. Wasnt a big deal it was at the end of the day I get it. Still tipped. Had to ask for a cup holder then the window was promptly slammed in my face. Very disrespectful. Very poor customer service skills. Still loved the Italian ice though.

The staff here was extremely friendly!

My friends and I showed up late in the evening and the team here was quick to assist, serve us, and get us all our frozen treats. They did this without compromising customer service either.

Of course, Rita’s being Rita’s, everything was delicious! The custard was great and I highly recommend Reese’s Take 5’s on top!

2:40pm on a Tuesday and Noones here. A white benz in the employee parking spot but not a sign of life in the store. You lost at least 3 sales while we were there.
