Who ever the woman is, please work on your customer service and communication. My mother was waiting for Mac and cheese after the woman already said it would be 45 minutes. We came from the one on Erie which was closed. We said we want to order a large and would come back. My mom came back they had her sitting and they said it’s an additional 45 minutes from one of the gentlemen’s but then woman said I don’t know if she’s getting any. If she couldn’t provide any then it’s no problem to go to another store but to have someone sitting around… and the food was not great. It was not worth the wait. I ended up going to Victorias Kitchen for Mac and cheese. I wish I would have just went there in the first place.

First I would like to say I had a post up giving a bad review because the ribs I had were falling off the bone and I was not sure if they were grilled. I went to work the next day and I felt bad that I wrote it without speaking with the owner. So I called her and told her my complaints she was very welcoming and inviting to what I had to say. I think that I judged her bbq to the one on Broad st. First her customer service was way better and he hearing me out and explaining how some like it falling off the bone and some don’t. I’m glad I gave then another shot because she was kind and the ribs were right off the pit and GOOD! I hope this business continue to survive for children. Thank you Mrs Ellinore

I purchased a slab of pork ribs, and an order of potato salad which cost $43.00 The ribs wasn’t seasoned and somewhat dry even after adding the sauce. Also slightly dark in spots which gave a bitter after taste.The potato salad was slightly soupy. It was fairly early in the day so I’m not understanding the dryness of the ribs. I use to love the ribs from both locations, but not now. If I felt up to it I would catch the bus and take the food back. It’s also a possibility that the ribs were left from the night before, it’s just a thought. I don’t make it a habit of writing anything negative but I have to be truthful and honest.

the service is far from the best, the majority of the time I stood waiting, the workers were giving off the vibe that we were interrupting their day by being there. most items were sold out or they said it would be ready in a couple hours. so I went with the wings, they were a good deal. I tried them, and they were so good, just regular bbq sauce, so no special flavor, but fall off the bone good, next time I might take them home and spice them up a bit, but looking forward to trying their other items

Get a price list. Post it on the wall. Each time I visit this place, I order the same. I have seen my bill fluctuate like a balloon. Today, they charged me $15.50 for a large potato salad—the same price they charged me for an entire chicken platter. Crazy. Come on, black people. This is why it’s hard to support your own. I won’t be back. That’s absolutely unprofessional.
(I won’t speak on the two turkey wings they gave me on my platter.)

It’s nuthin like walking in your kitchen, and all your favorite food is on the table! I ❤️, I said love this place ribs, potatoe salad, turkey wings , salmon ( when u can get it ) take ur pick . It’s like home. I’ve literally grown up on this food.
