This is the best Rita’s I’ve ever been to. My usual location is Manahawkin, but was in the area and stopped. They had so many more flavors than my store does. The worker was beyond sweet, let me try 2 different flavors and was just overall so friendly, upbeat and accommodating. From the other reviews it looks like other people agree with my sentiment. Thank you for such great customer service!

It’s been a long while since I’ve been to a Rita’s! They have added some new things like a flight. I love that idea because I have the hardest time deciding between ice flavors and now I almost don’t have to! They didn’t disappoint and it was how I remember them from my childhood summer days.

TLDR; Phenomenal staff and attentive to food allergies!
7-20-24: I just had, hands down, the best experience at any food establishment I’ve been to in my adult years. I was helped by a young gentleman named Andrew. I wanted a mint chocolate chip & vanilla custard misto (now called something else that I cannot recall the name of), alerted him of my deadly nut allergy, and asked if they used the same blenders for all of their mixed treats. He said they did, and without hesitation, said he would clean the machinery before making my order. I was so grateful! I could even see him cleaning everything in the sink right through the window, and thoroughly washing his hands, as well. After he made and brought my order to the window, he alerted me that he had cleaned everything and washed his hands well. This almost never happens to me, some places either do not take allergies seriously, or they are simply unable to make the proper accommodations. He could have easily said, “Yes, we use the same machine for everything that gets blended, so I cannot guarantee there isn’t a risk,” and left it at that. He went the extra mile to ensure I could order what I wanted without the risk of going into anaphylaxis. Overall, wonderful employees, and a fantastic experience! I will be returning knowing it is safe and enjoyable!

After beach treat. Calm. Friendly quick service. Rita’s is always great. Many Gluten Free selections. We take our treats to Cattus Island County Park (and bring home our garbage).

Absolutely love this rita joint. It can be a bit busy during the warmer days but it’s definitely worth the wait. The flavors are all great and they aren’t too sweet which is a plus for me or anyone who doesnt want a mouthful of sugar.

Try the “Wild Cherry Ice” it’s amazing. Has real pieces of cherries in it. They have other delicious flavors too like passion fruit, mango, blood orange and chocolate, coconut. And many more, they also have custard flavors too that you can include candy add on’s. Had very nice customer service here. If your really hungry, go to the Driftwood Deli next door and have a sandwich, then top it off with a Rita’s ice.

Walk up counter is in use, they have shields on the window and wear masks, and I saw the employees using hand sanitizer between customers. The signs all everyone coming to the window to wear masks as well. I was happy with the precautions that they were taking. The ice and custard are excellent as always!

Ordered 3 flavors in gallon size for a party. Sent someone to pick up. The person came back with NO CUPS OR SPOONS!! Good thing I had something to use. When I ordered I was told I would get them. Very displeased!!
