On a hot day it’s a great spot for a treat. The dogs got a small cup of vanilla custard which they loved. I got a water ice which honestly wasn’t as flavorful as in previous years. I don’t know if they are skimping due to the economy but wasn’t up to their previous standards. However it was a hot day and the ice was cold so still worth a try.

There were only 2 workers there. One was organizing the cups and the lids over the water ice while the cashier had to ring customers up and prepare the order. The other worker should have at least make orders to get the line down faster. Water ice was very soft like it was melting. Im glad I wasn’t taking anything home.

The franchise in Hamilton was closed 15 minutes prior to 9:30 pm. I had my children in the car and did not want to disappoint so I walk up to the window. When I knocked on the window at 9:15 pm the employees inside were cleaning and talking about me at the window but refused to answer my knocks at the window. This is not only rude to patrons at this location but also bad for your business as they refused money to this franchise. Going forward I will refuse to spend money at a place that allows their employees to run the business away in hopes for getting out of work minutes earlier. These young individuals should be ashamed of themselves for this behavior. As the franchise should be ashamed of their hiring process. I suggest these issues be addressed on all parties accounts. As I sat in front of this franchise typing this the employees came out and one of them looked at me laughing and spit in my direction. The other employees thought this was funny. I was hoping a simple company message would be enough to address and fix this issue,and fix this disgusting behavior but after this absolute disrespect in front of my children I am going to repost this on multiple different outlets.

I love Rita’s.They have the best assortment of flavored ice. The gelatis are outstanding. And misto’s that you can mix diff. ices together with the custard. Please bring back the icecream cakes. We had one & it was the best ever! Thank you very much. Oh yes, when will the be open til 10pm?

This Rita’s location is the best. The staff are friendly and always happy to help. Ownership is in touch with their customer base and appreciates its regular customers. Location is great with places to sit and enjoy your treat.

The girl who was working was canoodling with her boyfriend at the window and then was picking her teeth. When the boyfriend left she went to touching the product without washing her hands first. The window my family was ordering at was ok until I tried to order while the guy was looking straight at me and completely ignored my order. I then asked my mom what she was ordering and he heard that order. I didn’t receive my order.

Very good, they usually have a lot of flavor options, but they are very popular so on a hot day they run out quick. Also they switch up their flavoe menu so they may not always have your favorite flavor.
