Reviews
I discovered this place several years ago and have always made a point to visit when I’m in town. I always regarded it as a great coffee shop due to their plethora of menu options and extravagant atmosphere. However, after spending more time in Auburn, I’ve found that Ristretto is much more than a coffee shop.
Ristretto is a place of belonging. A place you know you can count on to meet your needs on any given day. Need a quiet place to study with zero distractions? Ristretto. Need a cozy coffee spot to catch up with an old friend? Ristretto. Looking for somewhere to work on a community-style table where you’re bound to meet other like-minded ambitious people? Ristretto.
This may be a long-winded review but I can assure you these words are but a fraction of my wholehearted affection towards this place.
Come. Check it out. Say hi to a stranger.
Oh and a little secret..
If you come and happen to order a Chagaccino 3 days in a row, the owner will invite you upstairs to let you race a lap around the Nurburgring in a Porsche GT3 RS tailored and tuned to your exact driving style on his real life racing rig.
Either way I highly recommend the chagaccino (I order 2 of these every day and always feel like my brain is operating on another level after)
Many coffee and other drinks options, muffins and bagels for brunch. They also have Bingsu, Korean shaved ice cream, which makes me interesting because not many places have it.
A good place for study and working since they have separate rooms for who prefer quiet.
Updated (08/01/2023): tried classic bingsu and it’s pretty good, really Korean style
