Food was good and fresh and the view was very nice. However, the servers were not attentive and a little rude. When a mistake was made in bringing an order they gave us the fault and did not offer to replace the dish. We order one dish that was never brought. The price was high compared to other restaurants on the island.

Amazing fresh sea food experience! The sword fish was delivered fresh from the sea with a lorry, huge selection of sea delicacies, will recommend the tuna tartar for sure!

I don’t understand all these negative comments about the prices at this restaurant. The food is delicious, everything is fresh, and it is really well-prepared. The tuna tartare is world-class. I think the prices were not too high for such quality. Our service was great; the waiter perfectly paired delicious local wine with our seafood. However, I was disappointed by the behavior of another woman from the staff, who tried to chase away (with a kick) a hungry cat that was wandering around the tables. Due to this disgusting behavior, I deduct one star. The cat didn’t bother anyone, and this awful woman drew attention from many tables to the poor animal.

Amazing experience of eating fresh langustini. Just unbelievable! Only because of that 5 stars to attract some attention. The rest is not that great – rather expensive place, spoiled by reach tourist and offering very poor choice of wine.

At the start they told us half of the menu wasn’t available. We didn’t even order food because the staff completely ignored us for 20 min and didn’t take our order. During that time the table that came later then us already had their food. Wouldn’t recommend.

Sadly, it was not a nice experience to dine at this restaurant. We‘ve never met a waitress this arrogant, who then served us a burned fish for which we had to wait 1,5 hours and she was not able to clean it.

The restaurant should be called “The king of insults” which lead to my worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. Stay away. There are many nice and cheaper restaurants in Vulcano!
From the moment we walked in, the owner’s insults and disrespect towards customers and staff were shockingly unprofessional. If you don’t speak Italian you would be in luck and not understand them.
The prices for the limited, expensive dishes were outrageously inflated, making us question the value for money. The only pasta that was available was with lobster (other comments suggest it costs around 100€)
As if that wasn’t enough, the waiting times were beyond belief. We endured a torturous two-hour wait and decided to leave after having only wine and starters, which were not even up to par.
Other reviews suggest that physical violence was seen often. Which we would probably also experience if the staff members didn’t hold back the owner after we left only paying for our consumed products.
It’s clear that this establishment cares more about emptying your wallet than providing a pleasant dining experience. Save your time and money, and steer clear of “The King of Fish.”

We arrived when it was quiet; about 8pm. But most of the items on the menu weren’t available. I guess it depends on the catch. But we were surprised that the menu was so restrictive. Whilst what we had was very tasty it was overall a bit disappointing about the lack of availability. The service was slow and the gents drinks orders were prioritized without any offer for the ladies to have drinks. Yes it’s Sicily but, when the ladies asked if they could have a drink, eyes rolled and seemed an irritating request. All in all a very unpleasurable experience.
