We had a great little trip here. We are out not locals we were just driving around the town to look around. We stopped here to enjoy some ice cream, which we got, it is Hershey’s hard ice cream which is great and we noticed they also sold beignets which we ended up getting an order then another order. While the ice cream was good, the beignets were so delicious, melt in your mouth. If time permits driving down I10 again we would stop again. Service was great, it was a fun family atmosphere. There is a steak and seafood restaurant on the other side of the building that smelled amazing, we will try that next trip.

Ice cream tasted old. Our ice cream had a odd taste. Two small scoops cost 6 dollars. Small plastic cups.

This was our second visit. The first time, we just got ice cream in a cup and it was fine. This time, we decided to try the milkshakes—and unfortunately, we won’t be back. We paid over $13 for two milkshakes that were thin and watery. When we pointed it out, the girl just looked at it and said, “Yeah,” with no offer to fix it. They were also out of whipped cream but didn’t mention it until after we ordered. The staff—mostly young girls—seemed unsure of what they were doing and not very engaged. Overall, disappointing experience.

Was really disappointed by this place because we didn’t feel it matched precious reviews.
Everything needed a good scrub, and the counters were disorganized and messy (it was not busy).
The ice cream was just okay, not smooth and tasted over frozen. I ordered a hot fudge sundae, which came in a small Styrofoam bowl. They couldn’t get the hot fudge to come out, so they just gave me chocolate syrup. Basic whip cream from a can. Limited cone options for the kids.
I would expect an “ice cream parlor” to have more options, better ice cream, and better ingredients.

We stopped in after looking for an ice cream place while on vacation. I will say it is a must stop place. It’s a cute little place with and old time feel. The ice cream was amazing. I got a scoop of banana pudding and it tasted just like the real think. My son got a milk shake and the other got 2 scoops. All was amazing and worth the little drive to try.

The staff are friendly, considerate, and go out of the way to take the best care they can of their customers. The milkshakes are awesome; full of flavor and the perfect consistency. The old-timey aesthetic also gives the place a really cool atmosphere; loved seeing the old-fashioned cash register and the arcade game. Highly recommend!

Don’t visit if you’re in a hurry. 15.00 for 2 milkshakes, the only reason I didn’t leave was because they took my money before making the milkshakes…. one hour later we got the milkshakes. Seriously!

We were at the restaurant next door and the the waitress recommended the ice cream shop for dessert. We stopped over but it was closed – well the manager next door came over, opened up and got us our ice cream – wow – that’s service- my banana pudding ice cream was better than Blue Bel’s – thank for taking care of us.
