The service here was amazing the hostess was kind and welcoming when we arrived early for our reso. Jorge was our server and he added to the amazing experience. He was funny, helpful, attentive, helped recommend things off the menu. I’ve been to sotto but the Oakville location and hated it. It was my first time at the location the food and service was better. It was like going to two different restaurants. Now for the food, Loved the calamari, I ordered the mushroom pasta and didn’t like it, it bland and had no flavour had to ask for salt and pepper. My friend ordered vodka rigatoni and it was so good. We actually ate that together. I will be ordering that when I go back. Then we had the tiramisu which was amazing. The espresso, lychee martinis and wine were good here too. Can’t wait to go back, hopefully sit in Jorge section again. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend Sotto Sotto, by far the best pasta I’ve had in Toronto. It truly feels like being in Italy.
We tried the Linguine allo scoglio, the seafood was perfectly cooked and the pasta held its texture beautifully. We also had the Cacio e Pepe, which was wonderfully creamy and just perfect.
For starter, we ordered the polpette. The meatballs themselves were fine, but the sauce they came with was absolutely spectacular.
Andrea, the Italian waiter who looked after us, was attentive, warm, and genuinely made the experience feel special. The rest of the staff, on the other hand, was rather unremarkable.
The décor could use a bit of refreshing, but I really appreciated the classic touch of proper tablecloths and cloth napkins
We spent about CAD $100 (including taxes, before tip). Overall, it’s absolutely worth it

Definitely feels like a classic Toronto spot that’s been around for decades (it has). Food is fine, we started with the burrata caprese and got the L’amatriciana, bolognese, and rapini. For desert, the classic tiramisu though they had a pistacchio one on special (we wanted the café flavour). The atmosphere is classic Italian Toronto spot, like old school Yorkville. Our server Steven was kind and attentive, but not in an overbearing way…it was my friend’s birthday dinner and they put a candle on the desert, which was perfectly subtle.
