This place was everything and more than I expected. The photos drew me in. We sat outside under the grape vine covered pergola. The food, service and dessert were all above par. They had more than enough staff, the flourless cake was not frozen, we did not feel rushed at all and it was just the absolute perfect experience for my friend and I who hadn’t seen eachother in over two years. Highly recommended.

Excellent service, great food! From the bread basket full of pizza strips and foccacia to homemade gelati and many traditional Italian dishes, Lucia was on point. Party of 6 was well taken care of, seating was comfortable, air conditioning on a hot day perfect. Outdoor patio dining available. Separate sides for more casual dining. Something for everyone. Try the linguine with clams!

Ate there last night for the first time. Service was horrible, sat there for over 1/2 an hour before the waiter took our order, we had to ask the bus boy several times to get his attention. And he was nasty when I asked why he took the order of a table with 12 before us when those people came in after us. We ordered 5 meals and each one was nothing great. I think the place gets good reviews because its a pretty place and because the people that live around here have no idea what good Italian food is.

My family and I lived in Bedford since I born (I’m 26 now) never have I had a better shrimp and garlic pizza in my life. The crust crunchy yet soft. Don’t even get me started on the sauce (one word… Perfecto!) My pops retired to North Carolina and we still come up to New York to get Lucia’s. Thank you for making my childhood full of great memories and Viva La Lucia’s!!!

Nice place. Nice atmosphere. Attentive wait staff but not over powering. Food was very good. No complaints from a very foodie group. My daughter, “miss foodie ” had a smile on her face. Very adequate portions. Not crazy priced. We enjoyed our meal and will be going back.

The ambiance, the staff is just so amazing. The food is so delicious, fresh. We have been there many times, and every time we go its amazing. They are just beyond amazing how they treat a Celiac person. The waiter remembered us, also remembered that my husband is Celiac. We love this place and highly recommend this restaurant.

If you are looking for an Italian style Pizza with sparing amounts of high quality mozzarella, look elsewhere. My Margherita was covered in thick tasteless “cheese” of questionable origin. One slice gave me indigestion that even Fernet Branca may not cure. Rest is in the garbage. Proceed with caution.
