Indiano K offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for casual dining. While it doesn’t aim for haute cuisine, this modest establishment delivers a satisfying experience for those seeking comfort food with a dash of Indian creativity.
The menu features a mix of classic dishes and a few innovative twists. The standout for me was their chicken Masalla . The flavors were familiar yet elevated, with a hint of smoky paprika that added depth. The portion size was generous, making it ideal for a hearty lunch.
Their main courses cater to a range of preferences.
Service was friendly, though a bit slow during peak hours. The staff seemed slightly overwhelmed but maintained a cheerful demeanor, which softened the wait. The decor is not fancy but it does have a charming homey vibe.
Prices are reasonable, with most mains falling between 10 and 18 euro. For the quality and portion size, it feels like good value. While this place may not compete with fine dining establishments, it excels at being a reliable neighborhood spot that leaves you satisfied and eager to return.

Our favourite dish was palak paneer and aloo parata. Paneer wasn’t soft, but the palak gravey stole the show.
One of the best Indians and the best in Genoa!!!!
The best indian out of the UK
For many years, we were trying to find an authentic Indian restaurant. Finally, we have found it. Portions are big, taste fantastic and many options for all tastes.
The waiter always very friendly!
Price very good too!
We ordered some chicken as a starter. The seasoning was amazing and the chicken itself was as tender as it can be.
The main dishes tasted great as well and were very authentic. One thing you should keep in mind is that they mean SPICY when they say spicy. Normally, I can take some heat, but I wasn’t expecting to find such an Indian experience in a restaurant in Genova.
Therefore, I “had to” order another Mango Lassi. Luckily, it tasted great as well and I would always recommend that drink.
All in all, I can recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly if you want to eat Indian food for one evening after a week of Pesto and Focaccia.
