Absolutely amazing establishment. Food is excellent, service is 10 out of 10, atmosphere is unparalleled. The sweet tea is actually sweet which is hard to find in Colorado. Hefty portions and high quality food, you get more than you pay for. Chairs and booths are very comfortable. Pictures are of crab cakes, gumbo, key lime pie, and sweet tea.

I finally tried the food. Super delicious and I like the friendly staff. I think it’s a bonus for freshly cooked food, don’t mind the wait because it’s always worth it. I will definitely come again and bring more people with me. Thank goodness this restaurant is close by my place as well.

This was an amazing meal. The shrimp Po’boy was fantastic. The shrimp was crispy on the outside and succulent on the inside. The bread was toasted to perfection and well sauced. You will not be disappointed. I also got a steak poutine. It was beautifully dressed and tasted like home. Again, you won’t regret it. Thanks and keep up the great work. I’ll be back as soon as I wake up from my food coma. Cheers!

So overall, I have some pros and cons about the restaurant. Me and my woman went on a Sunday with only one other family in the restaurant. We were taken care of rather quickly(You would hope so).For starters, I ordered the Blue Crab Gumbo(not pictured) and She had the Clam Chowder (not pictured). The Gumbo was hot and so was the chowder. While the chowder had a good taste, My gumbo tasted more like taco seasoning and the crab tasted cheap and like it was outdated. For our main courses, I ordered The “Ben’s Seafood Platter”, and She ordered the “Whole Crawfish plate”. Now these came out pipin hot. But note that it took over half an hour for our food to come out. The only other 2 people in there( who order 10-15 mins after we did) received their food before us. Didn’t like that, but I was thinking it would be worth the wait. Sadly, it wasn’t. The food was pretty average for the price. The highlight of the food was their house dipping sauce. Should not be the case. Overall, the resaurant disappointed me due to the hype. In our experience and opinion, it was very basic and average. We would have been better off driving to Denver for Pappadeaux to get my money’s worth. Wish I could’ve said some better things for this review, but I can’t.

This place is so nice, love the atmosphere with smooth jazz playing, delicious cajun blackened mahi mahi was perfect an the calamari were big strips not just the legs like most places, we sat down right away waited an talked 10 ish 15 min then the apps came ,by the time we were done with the garlic bread and the calamari our dinner was being served. Very attentive servers an very helpful to answer questions. Even had the pleasure to speak to the nephew of the business, very polite. Definitely a friday night date night place for great tasting seafood with amazing taste.

Wow surrounded by The Rockies! Couldn’t believe it til I tried it. Shrimp and Grits in Colorado? Yes! And its The Best! I am a Foodie above all and a southern girl with a palette that yearns for the authentic. English Dockside serves the real deal and huge portions to boot. Not to mention they have a real vegan menu. The establishment, food and service were both exceptional and personable. They will be seeing me again soon.

Second time we have been and was even better than last time as they have a bakery! We had the fried lobster tails with a butter drenching. Just wow. Then shared the seafood plate with additional Cole slaw and green beans. We still had a large portion to take home. Barely had room for the sweet soft warm bread pudding. The bakery goods looked so good we had to bring one each with. Do yourself a favor and just go
