This is the first time I have actually put a review for food that I had delivered, but it was so good that I felt the need to do so!
My coworkers ordered the potato chips with onions all week at work so I decided to try them. I added cherry peppers to them and it was incredible .
I also had the Penne allá vodka which was delicious!
Zeppoli could’ve had a bit more powdered sugar, but they were a yummy dessert.

I’ve been ordering pizza from this place for more than 20 years. It’s the best pizza in the area as far as I’m concerned. The restaurant changed hands a few years ago (it used to be called Gianfrancos) but fortunately, their recipe didn’t change. Sam great tomato sauce. Another favorite is the sausage and pepper hero but a plain cheese pizza is our go-to.

Difference from when we first came to this restaurant to now. There were six tables seated total at 7:00 on Sat night and no one eating. There were four of us and everyone was waiting at least 45 minutes or longer to be served. Staff pleasant but I had to ask twice to have my water filled even though there was really nothing for staff to do. Food came hot and overall good but two of the four of us thought the dish they had been served previous times looked completely different and was very salty. The prices are crazy high. If you’re going to get a steak that’s basically $50, it should come with potatoes, not potato sticks. Unfortunately for Amalfi, there are other choices in the area. I’m sorry but we won’t be back.

The steak I had was cooked perfectly to med rare. Too bad it tasted like it was not seasoned at all. Just bland. My wife’s veal was good but there were four thin slices. For the price I would not recommend it.
The place had multiple lights that would sporadically flicker at the same time. It was very distracting.

My husband and I were so excited to eat here after just moving to town and reading all of the positive reviews, but we were sorely disappointed. Maybe it’s dependent on the day, but this was our experience.
We went around 7:30pm on a Saturday and the place was oddly empty for a Saturday night. We weren’t greeted and there was no hostess, but luckily the guy making the pizzas was nice enough to clean a table for us and seat us with some water and bread. Granted, it looks like they were extremely short staffed, but no one even came up to us to check in on us after he seated us for at least 15-20 minutes. When we finally got to place our orders, we were ignored from that point on (about 30-40 minutes) until our food came out. That whole time not being offered more water and then again they almost left as soon as they dropped the food off until I stopped them and asked for water.
The food we got was overpriced and nothing special. My husbands food- the chicken di amalfi he says tasted good, but the presentation left little to be desired as well he had a side of pasta in red sauce that tasted like canned pasta sauce which was extremely sweet. My seafood in a blush sauce was decent, but the lobster was either really not fresh or overcooked and chewy.
Again, wasn’t horrible, and I’m not sure if maybe other nights it’s a different set of staff and a different chef, but for the price and then with the service and atmosphere we experienced- I wouldn’t go back.

Excellent! My chicken Francese was great but just wish they served it with a little rice or a little pasta. Was just served with a very small portion of spinach. The dish was great but it lacked the rice or pasta. The gnocchi w pesto was excellent! Service was great and the pizza looked very good!

12/10 on food. Really top notch. The risotto was creamy and cheesy and full of seafood. My elderly mother ordered something off the menu and it was no problem and delicious.
My only issue is the wait for food. They are seriously understaffed, but trying to hire people. At this time, plan on spending at least 3 hours on dinner for a party of 4. But it’s worth the wait.
