Had an amazing dinner at Ristorante dei Rossi! The T-bone steak was cooked to perfection – incredibly tender and full of flavor. The truffle pasta was just as delicious, so creamy and aromatic. Also, my friends couldn’t stop talking about how handsome the staff were Especially Orgito lol. Great food and good vibes all around. Highly recommend!

Best meal I’ve ever had! Our waiter Orgito was phenomenal and elevated the whole dining experience . Every dish was absolutely exquisite. We had the Brunello wine and ate tartare di manzo, tortello mugellano, and bistecca alla Fiorentina. Would highly recommend all of the dishes.

We were 2 people here and we really enjoyed it. Orgito was there to help us and he made me eat one of the best dinners of my life. The T-bone, the wine and the tiramisu, everything was very delicious. We tried the chef’s advice as the meat, and it was such a good experience. Combining it with some roasted potatoes and wine, the outcome was fantastic. Thanks again Orgito. Such a nice dinner place.

Out of the many restaurants my wife and I ate at while in both Florence and Venice, Ristorante dei Rossi, was hands down the BEST culinary experience we had. AMAZING. Everything about it was 10/10, the food, perfecto, and the service was INCREDIBLE. If you go, ask for Orgito. What was an already great place to eat, he turned into an unforgettable experience. We were here twice out of the three days in Florence. Do yourself a favor and book it. Grazie mille, Orgito!

The Chianina steak cooked rare was perfectly juicy and full of flavor, and the beef carpaccio was absolutely incredible.

This restaurant is unreal – Quaint, cozy, and beautiful! We try to visit each trip we are in Florence and it never disappoints! Great steak and amazing pasta dishes. The service is also incredible. Stefano and the entire staff are attentive and take pride in their restaurant and service. I would definitely recommend!

We went for the Chianina T-bone, listed on the menu as about 1.3 kg. The owner weighed it and said it was actually 1.4 kg, but after confirming with him that two of us could handle it, we gave it the go-ahead. A friendly tip: It’d be better if they weighed it in front of customers for full transparency and to avoid any mix-ups. If you have a smaller appetite, definitely let the owner know upfront. We ordered it medium-rare—the meat was tender and juicy, with a perfect balance of fat and lean that made it incredibly tasty. The portion was massive and left us totally satisfied.
The pappardelle with wild boar sauce was just okay—nothing standout, and the serving size was on the smaller side.
It was lunchtime with only about five tables occupied. Here’s where it got a bit awkward: Every other table got a complimentary small jar of specialty salt from the staff, and some even received free desserts, but our table—the only one with Asian customers—got nothing. Sure, it’s the restaurant’s prerogative to offer gifts or not, but skipping just us felt pretty uncomfortable.
At checkout, there was a minor glitch: On top of the standard charges for the steak, pasta, and cover fee, they accidentally added a water fee, which they fixed after we pointed it out.
All in all, the steak was fantastic, but the service could use some polishing.

Ristorante dei Rossi Ponte Vecchio was hands down one of the best meals we’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, the service was attentive, warm, and truly elevated — especially thanks to our server, Origato. He made the entire experience feel so special.
We ordered the Wagyu Australiana and the Wagyu Giappone, and both were absolutely incredible — perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and genuinely unforgettable. Origato also brought us a dessert that we probably wouldn’t have chosen ourselves, and I’m so glad he did… it ended up being amazing and such a perfect finish to the meal.
