Longtime, family-run place offering classic Tuscan pastas, meat & seafood mains & vegetable sides.

This was recommended to me by colleagues. It is traditional Tuscan food. What I love about it is has a long generation of being a family run restaurant ( 100+ years) and still going. I don’t eat meat but everything is too quality. I had their famous Pici all’aglione a red garlicky sauce… yum yum and salad. So if your party is mix of vegetarian and meat eaters this is the place. Local Italians dine here too so it’s legite .

Happened to come by this place by chance, but turned out to be one of the best meals we’ve had in Florence. We enjoyed the experience so much that we went back the next night with a couple of friends who were also in Florence.
Good food, warm service and great atmosphere.
They have a daily changing menu, but we enjoyed the zucchini and saffron pasta, pumpkin chips, fried sole with butter garlic sauce and ragu.

We really liked this place. Went there twice and both time had very good food and experience. If you want traditional good italian food, quick and nice service, in family style restaurant with very reasonable prices it is place to visit.

Went here in a group of 5 and each of us loved this place! I tried their ravioli in tomato sauce, which is some of the best I’ve ever had. The tiramisu looked super amazing too (though we didn’t get a chance to try). The staff was super polite and friendly.

Almost certain that people are incentivised to give positive reviews to this restaurant because the reality is so different from the high reviews you see here unfortunately. Very foreigner unfriendly out of all my Florence dining experiences. Staff are very rude and impolite. Racist to orientals, pretend not to hear what we say. Took 40 minutes to serve the bottle of wine, 20 minutes to serve the first dish and 20 minutes to bring the bill. Staff talking amongst themselves. Speak poor English, impossible to understand. Even when concerns raised, the old boss was unapologetic and rude. Overcharging foreigners too with dishonest behaviour. 1.5kg Steak is dry and overcooked despite specifically requesting middle rare. Poor wine list. Overall, there are many places you rather spend your hard earned money at.
UPDATE: Photo proof added of our actual dining and payment.

Amazing Vongole.
(if you want vongole only with clams, you need to tell when ordering.)
The risotto was unforgettably delicious
The vongole is extremly delicious.

Very sweet family. Good was delicious even for my picky family who had just moved from Vietnam and is not used to western flavors. Everything was delicious, the prices were more than fair, and the service was impeccable.
This occasion dining out was for my daughter’s birthday, and before we left, they remembered and pulled her back and offered her flowers. Definitely will come back. Highly recommended

A family-run Italian restaurant, over 100 years, with excellent food quality and service. The price of its Firenze steak is reasonable, €55 per kg, while many restaurants in Firenze are overcharging tourists for almost 300%

We had a beautiful dinner here, place recommended by a friend from Florence. It was a lovely surprise that its still family run and owned. I wish I could share pictures of food but we were very hungry…
I can’t imagine you could go wrong with anything but the meat is a star on the menu. We loved the risotto too.
The atmosphere and interior is so beautiful and so original

Food and atmosphere felt like a homecooked meal, the pici was so good we ordered 2. The risotto was excellent as well. We felt the portions were slightly smaller than other restaurants in the area, but I’d take it over the comfort and quality of the food. Our server was very sweet!
