
Executive chef and owner, Davide Giuliani, was born and raised in Rome, Italy and had his first cooking lessons in his grandmother’s kitchen. Growing up in a culture where food and wine are celebrated topics of conversation on a daily basis, he couldn’t help but develop a true passion for cooking. Davide furthered his homegrown education by attending pastry school and becoming a certified sommelier. Pasta, desserts and wine education in Italy combined with fearlessness determination earned him a one-way ticket to the United States. All of his success resulted in the opening of Ristorante Bella Roma in Helena, Montana.

The appetizer we got was my least favorite, only because I’m used to larger portions, no fault to the restaurant. Delicious regardless.
We ordered the lasagna, the gnocchi, and the veal. All 3 were incredible. The gnocchi was by far the best gnocchi I have ever had in my life. The cream sauce was out of this world. I was scooping up every morsel of cream on my fork and spoon. I would have kicked the plate clean if it wasn’t so busy and people would be staring at me. The lasagna was at least ten fluffy layers of velvety smooth pasta, cheese, and sauce. Some of the best I’ve ever tasted. The veal was unfortunately over salted, but still quite good. The dessert was also a great way to conclude an epic meal!
My server Travis took very good care of me and made my dining experience wonderful.
Eating here is one of my favorite parts of going to Helena. ❤️
