Fresh and delicious seafood, with generous portions, in a no frills restaurant with great views overlooking the dock and water. I had the lobster/steamer special which came with 2 sides. My wife has a lobster roll and my older son had lobster mac ‘n cheese. Add beer/wine, calimari appetizer and a kid’s meal all for under $100? That’s a bargain and the food was great. Service was friendly and quick. Been going to the area for 7 years and my only regret is never stopping here before. Will be a must on our next Maine vacation. Go early like we did. It’s a small place and they get very busy at dinner time.

My husband and I had dinner at The Rising Tide the other night. The weather was beautiful so we sat out on the deck. We both had lobster rolls with cole slaw and roasted asparagus which came with the meal. The meals were delicious and the price was incredibly reasonable. The waitress was also very nice. It was a great experience for anyone looking for a true Maine experience without spending a lot of money. We went to one highly recommended similar restaurant recently in Kennebunkport and was VERY disappointed. The lobster rolls were fair and so expensive and I swear the wine was diluted.

Wonderful family-owned cafe, small with excellent seafood & steak. Very good service from friendly staff. Generous portions of fresh lobster, fish, onion rings. Very enjoyable view as it’s right on the shore.

Had to go back and eat here again today after we were here two days ago. Nice, clean, small, fresh seafood restaurant. I have been eating fresh seafood my whole life, since I was born on LI, NY and have lived in NC for 48 years. Lobster was excellent. Very large shrimp in shrimp cocktail and delicious steamers today. I would go here every day if I could. Great, friendly staff! Love it!

I came here with a few Mainers. We weren’t impressed. It’s a nice location and a cute little place, meh.. there are other places around that are better. My lobsters were good, but the fries, onion rings and desserts were from Sam’s Club. My asparagus was limp and disappointing. Overall, the seafood was fine, but expect ZERO frills. If they shortened their menu, focused on homemade sides/desserts and just stuck with good seafood I think they could be great. We wont be back 🙁
