We were in the area and I was thirsty so we stopped in. I was looking for a tea shop and this place came up on Google Maps. I didn’t realize what we stepped into until we spoke to the nice girl behind the counter. We both live active lifestyles and eat decently healthy so we don’t feel the need to drink meal-replacement shakes or energizing teas. We ordered anyway, because like I said–I was parched. We had just spent all day biking.
There isn’t any nutritional information listed and the staff is unsure about the actual nutritional content of the drinks. I’m pretty skeptical of health food places that don’t have this information at the ready. It’s cute how they stack the flavors but I still thought it tasted too sweet. Supposedly, it’s low-calorie and low-carb because it’s sweetened with a (hopefully, natural) substitute. I ordered mine with half the flavor/powder and it still tasted like straight syrup. I hope they use pure stevia because the cheap stuff that includes dextrose or maltodextrin can cause crazy blood-sugar spikes. I wish that information could have been out for me to read. My husband is in research and I’m in healthcare. This stuff matters. To put it in perspective, would you buy a supplement from GNC if there wasn’t nutritional information on the label? And, also, $25 for two drinks and no prices listed except for add-ons? Yikes. I would gladly pay that if I knew what was in it.

I agree with other reviews that something is off about this location. Took forever to get served, seemed only one employee was actually working. People are in a hurry but sure prioritize making peanut butter balls over the customer right in front of you. Was also condescendingly asked to show proof of the venmo I sent which no other herbalife has ever done. Really rude unwelcoming and slow.

I love all of the other locations, but this one needs improvement. They were understaffed and missed my wellness profile appointment without letting me know until I had already arrived and was waiting in line. I understand customer service can be stressful, but it’s important to treat every customer with respect, even when things are busy. At the very least, don’t take it out on me because my appointment was forgotten by you.
Also it would be nice if you included a public service/military discount.

As I was sitting under a shade tree sweating buckets of fluid, I thought, I need a milkshake. Pulled up a McDonald’s and started over when I was distracted by some colorful tents in what looked like an upscale mall. Pulled into a car show. I wandered around and then spotted the Rise and Grind. Sounded better that a chocolate shake. And so it was. A Lemon Cupcake protein shake with a shot of Orange Mandarin Aloe. It so satisfied my desire for a milkshake and it was really tasty like a lemon cupcake! I am so glad to have stumbled into this establishment. The staff was super helpful in the decision making process.

This is MLM (pyramid scheme) products being sold here. Disgusting taste with products filled with junk. I wanted iced coffee, not some gross protein shake that is coffee flavored. I feel like there could be some sort of lawsuit waiting to happen since the menu doesn’t state that the coffee is a protein powder. Surprised they arent selling DoTerra, and IT Works too.

First time visit, at the Rise & Grind at the District in Ankeny, we had a Great experience, and the hot peppermint cocoa was very good!

I just went to rise and grind for the first time today. The ladies working were so sweet,they helped me with my order and made sure I thought my drink was what I wanted before I left. I have been to many nutrition places and this one has so much flavor! Very reasonable pricing as well. I will be back!

Finally took a chance and stopped in to try, the two ladies were really nice. Because it was my first time there, one took the time to explain the process and how to order. Loved the aloe shot and the hydrate teabomb but the protein shake (Strawberry banana) all I could taste was protein powder and that threw me off. Otherwise the customer service was amazing.
The contact me to come back in and try another protein shake on them which I thought was really nice. Stopped by today and tried the Wedding Cake protein shake and it was amazing! Love it.
