Food was great. Probably the best hashbrowns I’ve ever had. Chocolate gravy was great too. Service was pretty bad. We felt like we were putting our waitress out asking for drink refills. She never smiled, she barely made eye contact. We asked for an additional order of bacon and waited 20 minutes on it, but it never came.
Has a great diner atmosphere.

Hoppin place from open to close. This is a mom and pop shop with breakfast and lunch items, however the breakfast menu does end daily. The servers are nice, and have good chemistry with each other and those you can tell are regulars. Fun little spot if you want to avoid the chains. Has a modern soda shop feel to it. The burger was decent, just needed more seasoning. The fries were alright, better than the tots. The BLT wasn’t much to write home about but better than Sonic’s all day. Kids catfish was the winner of the table and definitely worth getting as an adult. Great texture and decently priced.

Another bad experience here — this time without even getting the food.
We called in an order, and the woman on the phone didn’t read it back, didn’t give a price, and didn’t even give us an estimated pick-up time. When we arrived, the place was chaotic. Our order wasn’t ready, which we understood, but she kept saying she didn’t have our ticket at all. Still no communication about how long it would be, no clarification, nothing.
Everyone inside looked confused and unsure of what was going on, and the staff didn’t seem able (or willing) to communicate. It’s extremely frustrating to try to support a local business when the customer service is this consistently poor. Good food or not, the experience is just not worth it when the basics — friendliness, communication, and organization — are missing.
I really hope they address these issues, because it shouldn’t feel this difficult to order breakfast.

I went here while on vacation and Shania was my waitress; OMG was she off the chain. Her true happiness and joy showed in how she treated you. The food was amazing, got the scrambled, yummy. Would recommend this place to everyone.

You HAVE to try this local small business! When you wanna eat like the locals, order the chocolate gravy. HOLY SMOKES! I’d NEVER heard of it. Let’s just say, I’ll be telling everyone.
The service was A1. We sat at the bar and got the best experience. We got to chat with the staff and they were all fantastic. We felt so appreciated as customers.
The food! not a single complaint. Treat yourself and order a biscuit before they run out, then put some butter on it and wait to be taken to heaven! (While you wait throw some chocolate gravy on that bad boy.)

Service was bad, server was blatantly openly racist without any provocation. Didn’t eat the food because how can you trust a plate after a server loudly says you’re Mexican and cant afford to eat there? This place says it has a hometown feel. This is my hometown and hot springs doesnt represent racist values.

This morning 9/12/25 I came to eat breakfast and got my order takin and my food thrown in the table was asked if I needed anything else and I said no I think im good thank you.. one curly headed lady with shorts stopped to fill my coffee and the blond lady that took my order and dropped off my food past me twice never asking if I was ok or needed anything! All I saw her doing was swarming the bar area of men! When I paid for my meal I asked how it works there and the lady with shorts said we all share and I said no one asked if I needed anything and both curly headed lady’s said they asked me that’s a lie!! I was a server 13 years and would never treat my customers like they did me, ijust moved here from texas and this is my 3rd time here and won’t be back! I’m an excellent tipper but they never found out that I am or could of become a regular customer.. poor poor service is all I can say!!!

We are out of towners and went here based on reviews. They did not disappoint. So good that we will probably eat breakfast here the rest of our trip to avoid disappointment elsewhere. 5 star all around. Thank you!

I took my boys and I on a little mini vacation up to Hot Springs at the beginning of this month, I really wanted some brunch like food and decided to come here. The young black haired waitress is so lucky that the healed version of me is so much better than the person I was 20 years ago because trust and believe, the way she talked to my 10 year old had me baffled. He wanted lunch and again, we’ve never been to this spot, it was around 1030 when we came in and ordered and that chick was snarky, rude, and her attitude really needed some adjustments done to it. If this is who you hire in a vacation town, you lose the potential to have regulars when they’re vacationing here. When you have a waitress treat people the way she treated us and when I told her I wanted someone else to serve us, she was baffled as to think how could I even request someone else but she needs to take some accountability on her attitude and how she approaches anyone in a vacation spot. The food, though, was okay, and I was pleasantly surprised after the interaction from the first waitress that it was decent for the price. It all boils down to the first impression is usually the correct one and I almost got up and walked out after that interaction but I stayed because my children and I were hungry and ready to go back home. Just beware of this waitress, and if you so happen to get her, request someone else immediately, but the owner and the other waitress were very inviting, and pleasant, so as long as you’re interacting with them, you’re good.
