We went here after starting our day at Fika. We thought this was going to be a good place to relax and do a word puzzle.
It was quiet but there is hardly any seating here at all. 3 tables total. It was cold and the ceiling fans were on as well. Space is so small no matter where you sit you’re near the door.
We ordered matcha lattes which were good and very pretty. We also got a brown sugar toaster pastry and a chocolate chip maple glazed donut. The donut was yummy and so was the pop tart style pastry but it was cold and hard to bite into at first. We asked if she could heat it up and she was accommodating. It was much better warm.
We did hang out and puzzle then leave. IMHO if you wanna hang out and chill their sister space Fika was better suited for that.

This is my favorite bakery in Grand Rapids. My most recent visit was excellent having a mixed berry tart & Americano to drink! The tart was baked to perfection and unlike anything else you can get in the area including being vegan & gluten free!

This bakery is vegan, gluten free, soy free and dye free. The blueberry lemon cheesecake and buckeyes were both great! I took the cheesecake to a party and everyone loved it! I saw one guest get four pieces, one at a time. I don’t blame them. It was amazing.

The cookie monster donut might just be the best baked donut I’ve ever had. My goodness, it was so tasty! And the cookie bar is delicious. I really loved their baked goods, tasty tasty!

This is a great place if you have dietary restrictions, or if you just want a really good latte and something sweet. Everyone there is really friendly and it’s a good spot to stop in for a while, and a very pretty walk if you’re close enough. Really like their cookies and cupcakes especially!

This place had SO many dessert options. Most gluten free bakeries offer one rotating option of each type of baked goods. I was surprised there was several flavors of donuts, bars, cookies, and even more to choose from. The kids were so excited to pick out their favorite treats and I was happy to have so many choices. The coffee was great and they have seasonal lattes as well. Cute seating nook in the front with more options on their back patio. The perfect spot on a beautiful fall day which is important to soak up in Michigan. We came from out of town and wanted a quick bite before hitting the road. This place did the trick.

My husband and I were staying in Grand Rapids for the weekend and I sent him out to get me a birthday treat at a bakery. In full disclosure, I am a dessert/sweets addict so when my husband returned with the box in the picture I was horrified. “You got me baked goods from a vegan, gluten free, soy free, dye free bakery?! Yuck!” Long story short, he didn’t realize that it wasn’t a traditional bakery, he was just driving by and thought it looked cute so he stopped. I begrudgingly tried what he bought and I LOVED THE TURTLE BROWNIES AND MILLIONAIRE BARS! This skeptic turned fan will be back!

I’m not vegan or gluten free, but this place has the absolute best donuts. Something about the glaze is unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. I would genuinely eat 2-3 daily if that was a smart choice for my health and wallet. I’m so obsessed. If you haven’t tried them yet, what are you doing with your life.
On a side note, the atmosphere is amazing, baristas are super friendly, and the coffee is delicious. Make sure you grab a coffee and donut punch card and start earning some freebies 🙂

It’s nothing special. Aside from being allergen from literally everything. The baked goods most of the time have a decent flavor. However the texture tends to be way off. It doesn’t quite meet the mark for good baked goods. If you’re celiac, with a nut, egg, and dairy allergy, this the place for you. You know it’s safe to eat.
